I know the american office has meant to have done better then the original uk one, but i don't get it. I don't like the way the american one is copying our characters, because our characters are distinctly british. It's odd to me. Maybe it's better if you haven't seen the original?

@sam8110 Actually, I have watched both and only, like the 1st episode is almost exactly alike and a few are similar. Only the idea of an office mokumentary is the same. The characters are totally different Michael is nothing like David. Just like the characters in the UK version are distinctly British these characters are distinctly American. I see nothing British about them.
