I used to think he was British!

Homegrown American... and half of the Beatles loved him. And, Ringo made a movie with him. I used this song as an alarm clock (rigging my stereo that would turn on with a built-in timer.) John Lennon and he had many drunken adventures... and I'm sure that Tommy Smothers remembers. Anyway... nobody did it like Nilsson.
