This is many different areas in Germany. Much is in Frankfurt. The south is the most popular because it is the castle country and covered with rolling hills and vineyards. It is much more beautiful than the industrialized north.
the north, as in north-sea etc. Is the industrial area. The south is more agricultural and rural. My wife grew in Germany. Her mother still lives there.... It is the north that is industrial, not the south. The south is the wine country, black forest etc.
In terms of industrialisation, the situation is the same all over germany. The main diffrence is the higher population density in southern and western germany. The rual areas are much more populated than in the northern parts of the country. So the agriculture here in the south covers more areas than in the north (wine and so on). But thats maybe also related to the warmer climate here in the south (especially here in the rhine rift)
glad you enjoyed it. My wife was born and raised in Germany and I have truly learned to appreciate the people, culture, architecture, history, food..... and on the list goes!
You obviously have never been to Germany. The food is German food. In America you get American food.... HELLO??? German beer is made VERY differently than American beer. No preservatives are allowed, the alcohol concentration is higher and the process is different and strictly controlled by law and tradition. I don't understand how you could even begin to say they are the same... Unless of course you've never been there and that would explain a lot.
Viva Germania!
