In the late 1970's and perhaps at other times, this hymn was sung most movingly at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg, Florida. Thanks for this rendition.
I am a brothers boy, Incarnation, class 1960, Manhattan Prep 1964, Manhattan College 1968.
Doing our 50th Grammar School reunion at Incarnation in two weeks and looking for some age appropriate music.
And, as I always do to all Christian Brothers I ever run into, Thanks so much for the wonderful education. Had to finally get out of school to realize that it stood up well to any of the Ivy's and in many, many ways beat them.
Nope, There are a few, we were, and are the one on 175th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan. Great school, still going strong, great neighborhood, still on the upswing from decades of neglect.
@11119007 Thank you Br. Louis for your kind and supporting comments! At first I was only going to focus on strictly latin hymns, but then wised up and began including english as well. I'm glad you like them! God Bless, Br. Alphonsus.
Terrific Brother. Keep on keeping on, inspiring and uplifting us fans!

Beautiful! I sing this every so often in our community chapel. I am a De La Salle
Christian Brother in the 48th year of Religious Life. So, I was raised on many of
the hymns you are singing. Keep up the good work! Brother Louis,FSC
