  • I can see what you mean.I have just recently been put on these pills for possibly the same thing as you.I was taking cipralex(escitalipram) but stop taking it.Then came the psychosis after a weed relapse. This kind of medication should only be a short term solution.I'm hoping that when I stop this olanzapine I will start the cipralex.I've heard alot about the dangers of these things.I don t want to develope diabetes im only 27.good luck man.stay clear of weed etc..

  • Not only do they not work, they cause often irreversible damage to the brain that causes a shit load of other more serious mental and neurological problems and are responsible for a 4 fourfold increase in people receiving government disability in the U.S. since 1987 when these drugs started becoming the standard treatment. • are you me??

i have basically same story, smoked ALOT of weed thru high school, started a electrical apprenticeship got to 3rd year almost 4th (2months away) then got admited to hospital under the Health Act, lived with it for the 3 years talking to myself out loud, i personally feel that iam fine i dont hear voices or see anything i just need to talk some times so i can concentrate, Been off the Olanzapine for 10 months now and will finnish my trade in October 2011 :D

    was on 30mg to start.

  • @ihaveyoureyes

I also would like to comment on that the drugs dont change you as a person only alter your mental state, example had a girl friend while on these drugs was doing fine, but obviously i wasnt mature enough to handle a relationship and hurts someones feelings, all i can say is that the feeling good is one thing but compitance is another.

I did smoke some weed recently and did find it enjoyable was very relaxing, no relapse

    Hope your doing OK mate.

    Hope all is well

  • Dont take the social drugs, to stay off the doctors ones. Please realize the cause, treat it, this is the important thing. AND do not lie to people who are trying to help you. Thank you for sharing this video, suggest all watch to the end for the good advice. The medication is essential to start with, to get over the "crazies" but, best clean up your act, and get off all of them.

  • Psychiatry is the profession that I have the least respect for. They really are an anachronism.

  • Sounds like you're a very honest person who has some great things going for you. I hope you can find a doctor out there who would listen to YOU & not just write another script! It's almost like you go to a doctor & he gives you a Rx for help. Pills aren't made to fix all of the ills of mankind. I've never been on psych drugs, but I do know this-- doctors are practicing medicine & they don't know it all. They make mistakes all the time! All the best to you & I hope you real find help soon! MGM.

  • 4 idots don´t like this video, so they don´t like the truth.

  • These drugs are a crime against humanity. It's all a fucking scam designed to make people dependent on drugs forever and the pharmaceutical companies rich. They don't care if you're better, they want your money! Wake up people! You are very brave and I commend you for making this video. These drugs are not researched enough and they have a lot of side-effects, and the FDA knows this but they don't care. My sister got diabetes from one of those anti-depressants. Do not take them, people! EVER.

  • Ultimately you have to commit to a life of substance possible only through trusting others-which I admit is very tough after you've been severely hurt, and especially difficult when that hurt is experienced by a person who has been raised by neglectful or anti-social parents-and learning to love yourself and all mankind. There is not escape from pain, but it can be balanced by amazing love and gratitude for the immense depth of pleasures and wonders which ultimately remain a mystery! Good luck

  • Look up this word, Homoeostasis and for another up regulating. I use 'drugs' exercise and stuff to 'facilitate' cognitive processes (sometimes to help me think, sometimes to overcome anxiety mental blocks).. Basically 1-2 days use at most, do the stuff I have to do and couldn't then keep off them for a good while and cycle between things. This is called psychedelic therapy, augmenting 'counciling' with a 'drug' or other boost.

  • Man, your lifesyle made you sick and then you self medicated and that made you sicker so you asked for help by 'experts and got sicker when they medicated you. Maybe the best thing that could have happened for you as a young guy was to be left alone to choose your path. There are a lot of happy people who weren't forced into university they didn't need to attend and, instead, went to work and stayed so busy they didn't have any ass sitting time, no time to brood over things. WORK. GO TO WORK.

  • ever since. But I like challenges, and I took myself off their meds. My "psychosis" has been wearing off very much too. I think it's messed up that you can't be honest with the psych docs in the hospital, it seems like alota them like comeing up with personal agendas that they can fix(or not) by running experiments on unknowing patients in and out of the hospital(halfway house) utilizing alota "new" medications...

I also believe that talk therapy with a good shrink you know is probably best.

  • I kinda got the same story. Sept that, when my mind broke, it was after I finshed treatment for alcoholism. Counselors told me to talk about my "Problems", so I did. I think it made people uncomfortable or somethin which made me feel worse...anyways, I wound up in the hospital a few times, was switched on and offa different meds, which changed my ability to think feel and act in the world. Emotional disregulation bigtime. My core was exposed, and it's been hell tryna rebuilt my damaged psych...

  • I'm happy now and alive and well. I once took psyche meds. any one person who takes psyche meds and says that the meds helped them to be not crazy anymore is seriously wacked out, cuz psyche meds are bad for you big time, I hate 'em, they're supposed to help you and make you better, and make you not crazy, but they actually make you crazy and psychotic. lol damn what a world we live in. I should kill myself and be done with this planet. lol kidding. I'm the happiest man in the world now.

  • Lesson? Do not smoke weed!

  • i hope that scares you out of doing drugs aight!

  • smoking cannabis is like knocking on the door to being mentally ill permanently. If you do research on the net then you will see that alot of people with schizophrenia and other disorder smoked alot of weed or did other drugs. Its not the doctors fault for giving you meds. they dont force you to take them, but in any case stop smoking and doing other drugs, work on your diet, cut out caffeine and just find something to keep you occupied. I still take meds for depression ill get off when im ready

  • lots of psychiatric illnesses occur because of vitamin defiencys. There are several studies done on this, also change of diet can help, like leaving glutein products out of your diet.Check dr. Hoffer's work, also detoxing is important. Heavy metals like mercury (amalgam on teeth) can also cause mental illness, the hat makers used mercury on the lining of hats and that's why it's also called Mad Hatter's disease. Also other orthomolecular medicine is much more fruitful than "antipsychotics".

  • @3v3angel Yes, gluten and other food sensitivities, to things like MSG and aspartame and food dyes, can play a MAJOR role in psychological issues...I know from personal experience with myself and my daughter...getting her off these chemicals and gluten totally solved her emotional problems. NO drugs, thank God.

  • people that think drugs are tested and would never be for sale if they were not safe need to do a you tube search for the vids "the marketing of madness" very good info.

  • I ditched all my meds years ago, weed is better.

  • i dont take a goddamn thing anymore, not even over-the-counter stuff.Meds create acidosis and toxify the liver and brain. They treat symptoms, but not the underlying causes. As such, they are worthless, except to big pharma

  • How much have you been taking? Have you taken any other med with this?

  • I got bored after the first 15 seconds.

  • due to the terrible side effects i got from zyprexa always hungry leading to weight gain restless leg syndrome and sexual dysfunction i don't recomend it to anyone for long term use and i had the worst insomnia withdrawal that lasted like a month.

it helped me overcome an extreme psychotic episode some in hospital but i think it should only be for emergency use.

  • @InfidelAntichristian being locked up in a controlled environment is what "helped you overcome extreme psychotic episode". i'll say it again; BEING LOCKED UP IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT is what GROUNDED you to a baseline state.

  • yup these benzos & ssri so called "life saver" drugs is ruining peoples lives when coming off.. the cons and possible permanant emotional & physical damage far outweigh any tempoaray good it does!.. at best EVERYTHING it does for your life it takes right backthe progress in diff ways/new problems along with the same ones as before.

  • Eli Lilly Zyprexa suits

They called it the *Five at Five* (5 mg at 5 pm to keep nursing home patients subdued and sleepy) and *VIVA ZYPREXA* (Zyprexa for everybody) campaigns to off label market Eli Lilly Zyprexa as a fix for unapproved usage. Big Pharma companies that have relied on fraud to market industry's worst pharmaceuticals--antipsychotic drugs--which have become industry's most profitable cash cow. ---

    Daniel Haszard Zyprexa victim activist

  • I can't sleep without zyprexa help!!!!! also they put me on seroquel fucking bastards.

  • they just make things worse

  • Olanazpine didnt work for me i still heard and saw things but i'm on abilify now i hope you got better

  • I agree with you about the domination of the psychiatric profession and the poisoning of the psychiatric medication. Breakdowns are actually quite common for 20~ somethings especially those venturing away to college. The pressure of maintaining good grades and a healthy social life are hard for young people.

  • Did you have any psychadelic experiences? (not because of the meds, because of skitzophrenia) i saw ghosts, and people came to visit me and everything. I think its not widely known enough that skitzophrenic experiences can actually be enjoyable, and I didnt even want my schitzophrenia taken from me. I was supposedly drug induced too, i still have the occasional joint, but im turning off drugs as ive gotten a little older. (im 29)

  • Id like to think your a very intelligent man. YO! I AGREE!

  • Thanks. Well done. Psych drugs = chemically induced depression! We are battered by a culture that blames the individual for their healthy reaction to a harmful set of environmental factors. When you get sunburn nobody tries to tell you that there is a chemical imbalance in your skin! We don't try to fix the causes of "mental illness", such as isolation, stress, alienation and malnutrition. Instead we declare that we should drug everyone who visibly bares the wounds of our inhumane society!

  • Thank you for your story. Prescription drugs caused me mania. Other drugs, meant to help made me worse. i take nothing now and highly recommend nothing!

  • i took lamictal, gave me induced manic psychosis, doesnt go away, permanent psychosis... i am forced to take abilify and seroquel XR now

    i feel like shit

  • yeah i took zyprexa and gained major amount of weight, my cholesterol and triglycerides were sky high. i started to hear voices whereas i wasn't hearing them before taking zyprexa. also had some wild dreams on this drug. atypical anti[psychotics do not work for me. i am asking to be put on haldol since it didn't cause any problems the one day that i took it. even though you are psychosis free, do you think you are still schizoaffective?

  • alright man, yeah the same shit happened to me,but i had psychosis for 2 years and eventually i couldnt take it anymore and went on olanzipane and that cleared it up nearly completely, dude your shrink was an idiot, you obvouisly needed to switch meds,or not take any at all, check out my vids, later

  • I've been taking l tyrosine and it helps give my brain a boost reduces the fog from withdrawal. I've been on maoi and ssri anti depressants over 4 years.

  • how can u call someone names for sharing HIS expirience. everyone reacts differently drugs. no two people's mental illness is exactly the same. i had almost no good expirences being on medications (including zyprexa.) and expirienced many negative side effects. smoking pot effects your brain and body, otherwise you would not get high, which we all love. prozac came out in the 80's , zyprexa and many other drugs are much newer, therefor the long term effects of taking these drugs is unknown.

  • Zyprexa did make me zombified, watch out for Big Pharma on here folks, they lurk and will act like someone who is doing great on it!

  • Comment removed

  • you poor thing, antispycotics made me feel similar.

  • I'm a final year med student dude and you are talking such complete shit. Yes: Zyprexa can cause weight gain and diabetes. Yes: in many cases psychiatric drugs can't "cure" mental illness.

BUT, they help a lot of people (I'm one of them) function everyday.

They help people with schizophrenia contain very frightening experiences, they free people from severe depression. Your being stupid and irresponsible for giving the advice you are giving.

  • He isn't talking about all meds you stupid fuck. He is talking about the drugs he got. If you didn't know, all people are different and react differently to different drugs. This kid obviously has been through a lot and you should try and clean the shit out of your ears from sticking your head in your ass while watching this video. Maybe with no shit in your ears you could hear he isn't talking about all drugs that fight mental illness.

  • @inbetweenthetwo is there a pill to remedy the abusive attitudes & behaviors of people? why would you think it's okay (IT ISN'T) to tell somebody that they're stupid? WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK THAT'S OKAY? as far as i know, telling somebody that they're STUPID is ... ABUSE and that is ALL that it is. what does MENTAL ABUSE lead to? what does MENTAL ABUSE ... CAUSE??? i'm certain that it causes MENTAL "ILLNESS". my recommendation: study language, not MEDS because words are the ultimate SCRIPT.

  • you are a complete moron! While many drugs clearly fall into the category of either stimulant, depressant, hallucinogen, or antipsychotic, cannabis exhibits a mix of all properties. and ths moron goes to university!

  • I was force given haldol injections at 21 years old. Pressure from family all the time to take the meds. They work but it's like living with a crutch. I do think much slower too on them and have poverty of thought.

  • you didnt NEED meds, JUST DONT SMOKE POT!!!! are you stupid!! you only ended up in the psych ward from smoking pot. Of course the olanzapine shut you down, you didnt need anything, just stop taking pot.

  • @shaunkluzek smoking pot has no effects on you're brain nor the body, anyone who believes that shit is fuckin mad dumb. I use to smoke pot and had no affects to my body.

  • Take the mental illness happily. It protects you from all the other labels people try to put onto you. I'm so happy I had a breakdown. Now I can tell people to get away from me, and I don't have to worry about them having some sort'of bizarre power to commit me at their personal chosing 'cause I'm alnoe. It's over :P

  • i had a breakdown to or as i like to call it a nervous breakthrough the good thing about it is i dont care what anyone thinks anymore if u come out the other side of it it makes u stronger good luck

  • I was forced to take 10mg of olanzapine under a section for 4months and now I cannot come off it, I have tried to come off and just can't do it, I find I can't think straight and I start losing touch with reality. I did not actually have psychosis when I was forced to take olanzapine but had a really bad headache which drove me "bananas".

    Thanks for the informative video

  • i smoked chron an i snapped once had a krazy psycosis now im on respritol

  • I agree with you! My lover of 14 years is a paranoid schizophrenic and was on meds that absolutely didn't work - he would lie in bed all day crying in between suicide attempts - and NOT ONE DOCTOR WOULD TELL US HOW TO GET HIM OFF THE CRAP! We finally did, and now he is much better - these meds are only to make you so incapacitated that you can't annoy anyone.

  • @tvbop There are places that do alternative treatments that actually have success, the only way to get off the crap is very slowly and hide from the Shrink who will misuse the drugs by prozy, they are drug addicts by all measures. Look up John Nash for instance, you could also try a class action or other prosecution of the Dr... How where his 'stimulation seeking' traits when on the meds? most of the time they can't even get the diagnosis correct..

  • @tvbop I live th esame life. I was fine before, but after a while I would layin bed crying all day. Now I layin bed all day crying. So sad. Given up on life! I was gonna have a family and all but now I have given up on everything. And I can´t remember my mom or dad or friends. I can´t feel them.

  • Respond to this video... Gained 60 ponds too

  • My experience of Psych docs, has been good and bad. I had one doc who seemed happy if she could make me dependent on a med. I do not have a severe psych disorder like schizophrenia, or bipolar, but she pushed these meds for anxiety and depression.

She became very abrupt with me if I refused to take the drugs and tried to force them if I said no.

Eventually I got her to capitulate on cognitive behavioral therapy, and I take no meds now.

  • Marijuana can flip people over into psychotic episodes. If you are predisposed towards these disorders it can worsen it. It's unfortunate.

As for the meds, it's a very fine line of when and when not to take them. As you said they helped you in the short term, and they help alot of people in the short term. You also sound as if you needed to detox.

  • i smoked some weed and "dived" then i think my mind got vulnerable or something, did you have a similiar experience?

  • To be released from psych. Ward you must lie & tell them you are "Much better now.."

Omega 3 Fish oil is Good, excercise in the Morning, some herbs.

Snow Rose from, Russia, & another from Russia. Russian Athletes take it.

They say Ginko Biloba, though I did not notice benifit from it.

    Good diet...

As I said before I had no disorder before the psych.

How odd professors state yhey can find "No drug Virgins" in the BP population

I was Comatose for 1 Week, then Diagnosed

    ALL must be the same

  • I was on 10mg Olanzapene, & 2000mgLi. It had me a Zombie, I started drinking lots of water, & walking a ot, eased the Zombie state a little. I was in a Ward, so had to take it. Told psych. what it wanted to hear. "I was unwell...I am much better now..." This they record, this keeps them in their $21.6K/h jobs. As their is no Scientific Proof. Please see: "The Thud Experiment." I tossed the Zyprexa, lowered Li to 1250 Going from 1250 to 1000 I was psychaly stronger. Just 250mg Mind Gone
  • Canibis with Alcohol is I believe as bad for Mental Health as Psych. & its Drugs.

  • depression is just a brain tortured by masturbation.

Children get addicted and young people suffer from mental illnesses.

There is only one cure - no sex for a long time.

  • go fuck yourself

  • This med made me fuckin fat ass.

  • Me too...

  • the people in psychiatry are the most backward anal retarded fucked in the head nyphos ever

  • It take alot of balls to share an experience like that with everyone. I agree with you and wish you all the best.

  • You are very smart, full of wisdom sense of truth - i adore your way of thinking and i think you would succeed very well in life.

  • I am not sure what to do really because these meds are rough. Initially I was on abilify and couldnt sit still or think clearly and had terrible anxiety. The zyprexa is better as far as side effects go for me, but I'm aware that it is not addressing the real problem. I think I may come off these meds in the future at some time and keep a closer eye on my mental state with others' help. I just don't want to end up back here again. I hope it doesn't reappear for you and lay off the bud man.

  • I agree man. I had a similar situation where I smoked some weed and ended up in a mental joint. Got prescribed meds which had horrible side effects. Stopped taking them and had 6 months of feeling great. Then I had another psychotic episode worse than the first in some ways so I'm lucky to be alive and back on the meds. 10 mg zyprexa a day. I'm weary of discontinuing them again because I ended up back here. Hmmmm....

  • I'd be very interested to know what dose of olanzapine you were on! I've been on olanzapine for 4 years and there is no doubt it saved my life.

  • Hey ! Yell done for your expressions. Challenging the authorities that prescribe these drugs will not help, it is challenging their lively-hood.

Avoiding that type of drug dealer (psychiatrists) is the only way.

Herbal dealers eg. Holland and Barret make something called 5HTP ...a supplement I have recently heard about that maintains serotonin levels. Enjoy.. stay strong,

    We're all star-dust anyway.

  • The drugs wont work if you dont take them consistently and then start smoking dope again.

  • I've been on olanzapine for over 3 years now and dont plan on being on it for the rest of my life. I guess I will have to come off it slowly. Im 26 now.

  • Olanzapine/zyprexa(The fat pill!) Is not a cure but they balance the excess dopamine that people with psychosis have.

I hate taking meds,Have stopped taking them. Voices etc all come back but then again I don't think they ever went away.

  • Mate ive had an almost identical situation to you, my main advice would be STOP SMOKING WEED, i have, and.....its changed me, i smoked weed for 8 years (powerful stuff, constantly).

  • I had/have a very similar experience.

I had an "episode" and i was hospitalized and prescribed anti depressants and anti psychotics, then i had a "relapse" and now my mom freaked out and said "i can't live with her lest i take the meds" and so i complied cause of that, but overall i know the meds are bad. I'm hoping my psychatirist will allow me to go off, in which case my mom will also agree... otherwise i'm movin out soon...

God help us man. these meds are evil.

  • I know what your saying, I'm being

weened of effexor, The Dr. who put me on it said the only side effect would be I'd

be more sensitive to the heat, Do not stop

the Antipsychotics all at once-taper very slow

  • it's not the weed... it's the lights. keep smokin' take no pills.

  • You're right, a chemical imbalance in the brain is bullshit - there is NO TEST to prove any of it.

  • No these drugs do not cure you,& yes they are a maintenance drug therefore you have to take them continually.Psychiatrists & docters go to school to study these things for many years.I find it hard to believe that anyone with some intelligence would out weigh a Docter's recommendation to something that they found on the internet. Especially since more than half of what is on the internet has not been researched nor has been evaluated by the FDA

  • yes your right they arent a cure i dont know wether youve had the pleasure of taking olanzapine but it is not very pleasent. being on them for the rest of my life wasnt really what i had planned and seen as ive been psychosis free for well over a year now i can saftly say i think i made the right descion. the fda do not have to do long term studys on these drugs and psychatry is a buisness not a service. and if you dont beleive just look at the huge profits these companys are making.

  • I've been taken citalopram for 8 months and they just seem to have stopped working, and now i now feel worse than i ever did before i went on these things, and getting re-occuring thoughts of suicide. SO i mentioned to my Pysch, and he prescribed me Olanzapine and instructed me to take Citalopram+Olanzapine ,,,,,which i am in doubt about doing. Having wathced your video.

ANd there is no cure for depression. ITs all a fraud! We are just guinea pigs!

  • @deanomcbeano theres alot of them that are crap, problem is they generally have to keep testing them to find the right one. Cannabis can be dangerous for those predisposed to psychotic halucinations. Olanzapine didn't do a fucking thing for me (good or bad), nor did risperidol but seroquel seems to do an ok job and so Im adjusted on that to keep level and stop the halucinations. Your doctor isnt out to get you and they generally want to help. Work with them and they will find something.

  • @mcjunkins83 Doctors do have intelligence, but they are highly controlled by the insurance companies who are highly controlled by the drug industry. So therefore, doctors are pressured to fulfill the insurance company's requirements to administer drugs. Don't treat doctors like gods, they have bosses just like everyone else.

  • @mcjunkins83 Is that a bit like Heroin then? except people come off heroin in a better state when they went on it and the withdrawal doesn't take so long? I've been told that a bullet to the head doesn't 'cure' you, but less people complain. A Dr is not a scientist and their like a very out of date text book that's in it for the money and don't even bother to keep skills up to date.. I find it hard to believe that some people are so gullible.

  • alanzipene/Zyprexa is ONE of the anti phycotics i was put on/ i quit taking it due to being drousy to.. ANTI PHYCOTICS DO NOT CAUSE DIABITIES,, its the weightgain that causes the diabities,, cheer up emo kid.. and go take some Quetiapine/ Seriquil .. works wonders for thoes pesky voices in my head

  • "Maybe they even give you a two for one discount" Haha! :D

  • yeah. dont smoke weed if you are tired and stressed. if the stress is caused by real reasons, rather than just a mood, they have a good chance of amplifying when you get and giving you a very bad trip. i know. this happened to me once. good weed takes a lot of energy (anyone who has hit the good stuff knows about hearing your heart go crazy. loud and fast)

  • hay dude u know what will make u feel better i didnt really listen to what u were saying but im takn u are depressd or somthing. u know what u should do what helps me. do dumb ,stuff make people smile or giggle be random and silly i love being random and being silly just to see peoples reaction. i got a new car its a xcop car so it looks like a cop car and i highbeamd a realy cop lol and he didnt pull me over just lookd at me like im crazy

  • Guy, Im sending you a message in regards to this video to talk about 5:49 in you video, and Lily/Diabetes/Zyprexa. I am taking this seriously and I want to discuss this with you man.

  • your funny as hell, and smart.

  • this mothafucka is crazy man

  • WEED yo! Wake the fuck up. Your fucking lucky your not in that state of mind now and forever after, like me.

  • That's something to think about I am very similar to you as in I've had psychosis and I'm against drugs, prescribed drugs made me Hallucinate. You're body has an elaberate system and all drugs have side effects prescribed and other wise I was on olanzopine and put on wait then the drugs I'm on now put up my chlesterol level up.

  • K, gorgeous, you need to keep the pills going. Mine didn't kick in until about 6 months later. I've even attempted suicide with an overdose on them. Seriously, you need to give it a few months. Contact me if you want to hear a hilarious cannabis story. (when you get stronger meds...pot + meds = good time for company, bad time for you...fucks yer nerves bad)

    Joce.

  • Are you getting paid to post this nonsense contrary to the experience of millions who have their lives ruined by over-dependence on psychiatric drugs.

  • Drugs don't take that long to work. That's called a placebo effect.

  • I have been on every single anti-psychotic and anti-depressant there is. All they ever did for me was turn me into a zombie and caused me to gain so much weight. You don't need these drugs, I also should know the effects because not only from taking them, but from working in pharmacies that they will cause more damage in the long run then help.Take care and God bless.

  • Smoking hash ????

    What you doing !!!!!!

  • olanzapine ( zyprexa) has helped me regain my life, ok i have put on weight but i couldn;t do without it, good luck

  • "Talking therapy doesn't work"? You need a new counselor. The drugs are no more effective than placebos in tests. But cognitive therapy has actual clinical trials that show it works, it's the only therapy so far that has been shown effective in trials. Check out the book "Feeling Good". Good luck.

  • "antipsychotic drugs have been termed "neuroleptics," in that these drugs actions imitate a neurological disease."--American Psychiatric Press, Textbook of Psychiatry 1988.

  • the drug companies don't need ANY support whatsoever. They are evil!! yes we may laugh when we dig they both sell drugs that cause diabetes And seel drugs that cure it. But surely this laugh is the increduality of soul dead evil. Of these corps that will do ANYthing for filthy lucre

  • Victim? You crazy bastard.

  • the whole science being "psychiatric" drugs is non-existent. The drugs are poison. They don't solve the problem, only mask the emotions. They screw up your body and poison your system. They do make some companies billions of dollars, and they WILL lie to sell them. Read zyprexa lawsuits.

  • k look. I hate my pills so much, i hate them so fucking much. I'm up to pills 3 times a day, but for once i feel human. I'll never be the same...but i'm not like others who refuse to take them and live off of welfare. It takes time to get the right dose and drugs. Have patience.

  • i took zyprexa for schizophrenia in 2005. i didn't like it, but i took it for a few months. i gained wieght- i don't know what to think at this point. I've resisted the idea of taking medications for schizophrenia, but now i'm on an easy injection of risperdal once every two weeks. thanks for this discussion

  • Zyprexa is great. The medicament rescued my life.

  • did it save your life or did you?

  • @Runterkommbude your a fuckwit.

  • @Runterkommbude your a fuckwit.

  • up by popping speed and taking seroquel smoking weed snorting coke taking seroquel i fucked myself up!!! i become a zombie.. i was always

  • the seroquel. i took there drugs for about 6 to 7 months. on and off.. and that point also i was still tryin to get off drugs so i screwed myself

  • i was diagnosed with a toxic psychosis. i was suprised cause when i told them how i felt all they did was HERE TAKE THESE there called seroquel .. i started taking them the first month i started gaining weight i had no idea why 2 months passed hey i realized its cause of

  • dude my dad is in ward 19 for the 3rd time, he is schizophrenic and is prescribed olanzapine, he tends to stop taking it as he thinks he doesnt need it! he hates the side effects, hence the relapse into schizophrenia! i cant handle it anymore!

  • its really tough for everyone whos around that kind of thing i cant imagine how it affects immediate family i hope your dad can work through it eventully

  • @mazrocks82 They make one that disolves instantly, mabee slipping a low dose into his morning coffee will stabilize him when hes home. Just make sure you tell him you are going to do it when he gets home from the hospital and hes stabilized. I low dose should allow you to spot the signs without the side effects and get help when needed.

  • i think that anti psychotics medications should be given only to very psychotic people, with for instance schizophrenia or delusional disorders that last for a long period of time. i think anti psychotics medications are given too often to people that dont really need them. i was given depixol which caused me to develop dystonia.ive since then stopped with anti psychotics and i do just fine only with prozac.

  • How do you know the meds didn't work? What if they did work and that is why you are better?

  • well i dont know anything for sure but i definatly felt worse on the meds than off the meds and ive read a lot of reasearch and testimony which seems to support my reasoning

  • tell your psychiatrist that i said you're more like the real you now, than when you were on her stupid meds. when you were on medication it was like talking to a zombie and i could tell how distant you were from everything. including who you are. and it is a bit rubbish to be distanced from your own personality. although maybe my word is not significant to her. ah well. xxx

  • id tell her but i doubt it would do much good

  • I can't afford a haze induced state! I'll be posting another vid soon in response. I am deffinately on your side, and agree. Interesting how my insurance co. pressed my councelor to get me on meds.? Why does this seem a bit strange??..

  • It's weird that the average shrink will jump past the part where the patient has, for one reason or another, ingested lots of a street drug that gave them trouble, leading to a substance-induced psychosis, but if that doesn't clear up within days (it doesn't, always) the guy in treatment gets heavy medication thrust at him, or forced on him because they claim they can tell by then the trouble is a 'biological imbalance.' For some reason the docs don't blame the drugs for anything.
