Love your videos Sean, but what do u bring for water when ur out for a day. I like to bring a flask over a canteen because it lightweight and I can boil water in it if I needed too.
I like your knife and all the thoughtfulness that went into the entire design and functionality of both the knife and sheath. Still if I am going to carry a knife that weighs that much it will be a kukri for me. No knife chops better, works well as a draw knife, splits kindling as well as a hatchet or better too, and is an excellent combat knife for personal defense. Still I don't mean these comments to take away from your design. Truly a well thought out design with lots of functionality.
My favorite kukri so far is mt Cold Steel ATC in Carbon V steel with a textured kraton handle. The handle on original Ghurka khukri has a handle based on the hand size of Ghurkas; and the different ways they grip it. For Those of us with larger hands we need to mod the handle.
Yes I'd like to see them. I made a parang from a tractor leaf spring several years ago and gave it to my brother who was headed to environs that it would be useful in when he was in an elite army unit. All the guys liked it.

Just a thought I had: a piece of teflon or teflon-coated material sewn inside the sheath would eliminate wear to the stitching by the blade.
Great video Sean, I am definitely in love with the SFK.

If I owned that knife I would call it the Beluga, have a squire carry it for me, while smiling and test it in the great aussie bush.

If I owned that knife I would call it the beluga because it looks like a beluga whale.
