I was 23YO when "Dancing Queen" was released. At the time, I was into other rock acts, but "Dancing Queen was the soundtrack that was always running in the background. But now that I'm old and gray, I find myself turning back the pages, and taking comfort and solace in the music of far better times. Abba will live forever.

EddieA~100% agreed. Their hit and sales numbers became too overwhelming to ignore anymore, especially now that the hall made the decision to includes "rap stars". However, it a positive that members of the group all still living to accept the award. As the saying goes, better late than never. I'm just very thankful to have been around during the height of their popularity. Abba was one of those few groups that provided the continuous background music to milliions of lives.

And for some reason, "The Winner takes it All " still brings tears to my eyes.

I think that song is one of the very best lyrically, musically, and in the general arrangement.
