Another thing, like many of you wondering about the thicker V-picks...I never thought I'd ever get close to ever using such thick picks,,,BUT...after trying them, I'm now looking forward to trying those even thicker at 4.1 and much higher. Honestly, they just feel so surprisingly comfortable and make assist my hand to relax even when shredding.
I've been playing guitar for almost 40yrs, and I'm glad that I'm still willing to change__I recently tried the V-picks and quickly got converted (from the Dunlop Tortex which I used for years). I still spend time trying out numerous different kinds of V-picks__I line them up and try each one, and in between I play the old Dunlop I used to love...and it only reconfirms what I was missing in tone and feel. For me...V-picks definitely RULE
This thing is 2.75. I am sure it is a great pick , someone sent me this video and I posted my opinion. To me a pick this thick would be like playing with a rock, If you like thick picks I am sure it is great. But you are right I have never used one.
This guy works very hard to produce and sell these picks, and they're truly unique. My dad called the guy up and had a chat with him. Do you know the name of the guy who made YOUR pick, would you even be able to pronounce it? Can you call him up? His website has in depth descriptions of each of their picks, can't say that about a lot of other brands. Awesome stuff. Also, I am in no way associated with V-Picks.
I really like the tone of the V-picks and the way they don't fly out of your grip. I have a V-pick lite and I like it, but purely to preserve my guitars' string life, I'll stick with thinner picks... But V-picks are definitely awesome.
Awesome picks from an awesome company. Never thought I would use a thick pick, but the Traditional is a bad boy.

The problem with v picks is they squeak, very enoying

Try playing with our thinner ones, they don't. Also the unbuffed versions have much less chirp. Even the thicker ones.

I hear no difference in sound.

Which v-pick would you recommend for someone who is playing worship at church? Pretty much just all strumming with embellishments here or there.
Thanks, and looking forward to trying out whichever picks you recommend!

I would recommend the V-Pick Tradition Ultra Lite

the quality of the video won't allow me to tell the difference, unfortunately (not even at 480p). Too much audio quality loss going on.

I love my V-picks! My fave is the Diamond. I was a brand x user, but not any more. Totally worth the extra money IMO!
