@kilulafo LOL! He Is playing harmonics. You have harmonics on the 5th, 7th, 12th and 17th fret.

Here he plays a harmonic at the fifth fret. To play a harmic, lightly have you finger above the metal "plate" (the metal thing which shows where the different frets are), and then pick the string. You have done an harmonic.

If you can't understand what I am saying.. Just search for "how to play harmonics"! =)

@kilulafo He is using "natural harmonics".. VERY Lightly press the string on the metal shape that shows us where the different frets are. The Natural harmonics are found at the 5th, 7th, 12th, 17th etc fret.

Kirk does not play the high pitched tremelo part on the 24th fret or the natural harmonic 5th fret high E, he uses natural harmonics on the 6th fret G. Watch him play it live.

i went to the shop yesterday with my amp and guitar and the price to have it fixed is twice the price of my guitar and they wouldnt even tell me what was the problem or what had to be changed and other shops told me to just buy another guitar so im planning to get a new guitar and a new amp in a few months

very well explained, and you play the solo well, only things that could have improved it are you could play the solo right through at full tempo at the end to finish the lesson off, and maybe be a bit quicker lol, for such a simple solo you explained it really slowly so i ended up skipping ahead every now and again for the next bit, but i spose some people would prefer it slower, anyway nice lesson :D thanks, i learned the rest of the song ages ago but never ad a decent tab for the second solo.

I have the tab book and the way you do it seems more accurate on a few parts. It sounds better to bend the string with your finger on all the bends except the harmonic, but other than that thanks the tab book had me confused.
