@MrMilo236 Morrigan's in here (though Capcom got lazy and just put in her original Darkstalker's 1 sprite which sticks out worse than a sore thumb.) Kyosuke from Rival Schools (I guess you could count Sakura since she was in it also.) Nakoruru and Hoahmaru from Samurai Shodown and Hibiki Tane from The Last Blade series. But yeah, you're right its pretty much just SF and KOF.

Long story short, Rugal used to turn people he killed into statues -- as a jab at Capcom, you see one of Guile in the background of his pre-fight cutscene. This intro is pretty much Capcom out-SNK-ing SNK in sheer obscurity of what's being referenced. :v

One thing about Capcom vs. SNK 2 over say KOF XII is that Capcom vs. SNK 2 is worth it, in such a more solid manor. That this game really shows people, fighters coming across dimensions to show friendship, and if not that atleast a bit a friendly competition between people from another universe, even though the universe isn't really all different.

and after beating gen the ending shows gen trying to pull a trick i think before gouki dealing the final blow but i vaguely remember him teleporting without finishing gen and so avoiding the deadly hit he was preparing while lying down.
