  • You should really learn your hotkeys !

  • @SebbzN I know the hotkeys, but if I was going to use all the hotkeys, I'd had to explain them over and over again with text since this isn't a speech tutorial.

  • @CypereZe Yeah, i see that coming, but nice btw

  • @InvaderZimFan101

Take quick selection tool, go around the person or object.

    When you've made your selection, right-click -> feathers 1

and take brush tool, select white color then just drag over the selected area.

  • @CypereZe this conversation is over kiddo. And learn to walk away next time.

p.s. If you ever had the decency to talk to someone without calling them a "dick" then you would probably be the maturer one.

Right now you;re just a stupid kid who likes to insult ppl. Adios

    dont even reply.

  • @Backtrap1943 You told me to fuck off? That leaves me to be the mature one here.

"Dont even reply" Of course I have to defend myself.

  • thank you so much!! this tutorial is so simple that everyone can understand it!

  • thank you soooooooo much =) omg yay =D

  • thanks! alot of help xD

  • how do you open another picture? sorry i'm new (:

  • Ooh, it's okay. We're all newbies!

Just go to the top where it says "File"

And it should be a alternative where it says:

"Open.." select that one, and another window should pop asking for you to select a picture. :)

  • How to you blend images into each other without making them as big as the other? I mean, I want the pictures to blend just in the middle, like its one picture on the left and one one the right, and then they blend in the middle

  • @charlieflip

Could you write me a PM explain more briefly what you mean? Maybe find a picture how it looks and I'll try judge from there. Thanks!

  • ok I sent you an e-mail :) thanks

  • Tnx

  • hey i have a question 4 u. how do you save the picture so that you can upload it on myspace or set it as a background picture?? plz help me, thx.

  • @1dynakchan Head up to the top left corner

File -> Save as -> JPEG, BMP

    (There's many alternatives)

  • fab FAB 5/5

  • Ok thanks! great vid, 5 stars :D

  • how do u apply???? u just totally zoomed in :/

  • @o0marielo0 Just switch to another tool, example the point tool (Looks like the pointer) and a little window should be saying

"Do you want to apply this transformation"

Then you press the button "YES".

  • Good job, im making some vids on photoshop too, studying I.T in college, like what you've done in this vid, but i think too much layers and opacity cause some pictures to become invisible behind them, maybe lessen that up a bit mate.

  • @XxrickypersaudxX

Hi there mate, glad to get some possitive and negative feedback.

Yeah, this video is sort of old.

I'm studying a collage who has it's name

    ''G.U.C''

In English translated it'll be, Grafic communication center. And I'm learning to master Photoshop like a pro. So I'll prolly be throwing in some videos now and then from what I've figured out myself.

  • Ahh thats cool, my college course will teach me a bit more than basics on photoshop, but i hope to make some videos soon, like on request or whatever i feel like. right now its just about getting the motivation huh?

well your doing good if you have decided to take a course on it, im sure good will come from it, hope you do well with everything mate.

  • @XxrickypersaudxX

Thank you for all your curraging words, really!

Means a lot, I have the motivation though the thing missing is the time and the patience I guess. All the details and such are really "Needy" and I always miss the details, but oh well. I'm progressing pretty fast though.

I hope your doing well in whatever you work with, I hope to see some of your photoshop works aswell! Good luck in the future! Hope everything turns out like you want to!

  • Its hard to find time at this age, especially while studying at college at the same time, I know its hard especially getting the patience as well, right now the only thing that's on my mind is getting through with my course and trying to find a job, too many distractions. but it does show what your mind is really set at when you do the kind of things your doing, so keep it up! I will rate all your videos as frequently as I can, and give you some encouragement :)

  • @XxrickypersaudxX Damn mate, should be more awesome people like you out there.

I really hope that you'd get a job that you actually like and not be like misserable over your job or something likely.

What do you want to work with, anyway?

  • thank you very much mate!

if everyone was the same then we would need someone even better to raise the bar then wouldnt we? :D

well i hope to work with graphics design, i love designing things and drawing things etc. how about yourself? im sure you will get plenty of newly opened opportunities when you finish your course.

  • @XxrickypersaudxX That's true, and.. Don't forget this line:

Everyone is stupid, else we wouldn't learn something new.

Yeah, I think we're aiming at the same thing.

Although, in my "sector" we're working with 3D designs, and animations. And photoshop.

    We're also photographing!

Maybe we should move this furture to MSN?

Maybe people search some answers and all our long conversations is blocking their way to get to the lower section.

I really hope you have msn!

Send me it in PM :)

  • Where did you get the NeverSayDie font?

  • how can i increase the resolution for one. when i try to blend they both appear but both seem faded. and when i try to change the opicity one starts to dissapear literally

  • Please, send all the details and stuffs in a PM to me, and I'll help you out. Didn't understand much of what you were saying to be honest.

  • thnx it helpd but with png your quality is much better than with jpg

  • .JPEG/JPG is a more familiar picture format, with PNG your quality, yes true.. It gets higher, but also with higher quality it'll also get a little bigger.

That's why I usually choose, JPG because it's a known format and it's uploadable on every site.

  • Thnxx alot brother helped me alot =)))

  • i just want to know where did you get all those sweet pictures with the sweet designs?

  • Search on Google Abyss HD wallpaper, and it should be the first one to show.

  • you dont have to do that. copy a picture over and another picture. then choose the layer of the picture you want. just press the num pad 1-9, 1 is the almost transparent, 9 can cover the buttom pictures. but if you want the specific %, then you do what the video shows

  • Yes that's true rax7, but remember - Since it's not a speech tutorial it would be harder to show what keys I'm pressing. And the tutorial is for newbies, and I thought it would just get a lot easier to show where the transparent/ocapacity channel is.

  • Awesome guide, man! Helped both me and my friend alot! =)

  • nice tutorial!!!where did u get ur abstract image?thanks!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! I downloaded at something called ''Abyss'' or something - Just search on Youtube ''Best HD wallpapers.'' and I think you'll find something along there.

  • Great tutorial, i didnt know cs4 could do this and thought it was similar to photoshop 7.. obviously not =)

  • hey u no wen i save the picture it saves it as .psd but not jpg. so how do i change it?? plz repli oh yeh fank u for the tutorial!! =) 5/5 suscribed it really worked aswell thanx mate =D

  • Cronicsonic1,

You go to files -> Save as ->

And under the name, you'll see a scroll down menu. In this menu you can choose different formats. Example,

JPEG, Bmp, and loads of more formats.

  • thanks 5* mate !

    keep it up !

  • Thanks.

  • welldone mate t has worked for me perfectly great job

  • No problems. Was it easy to follow?

  • it was really easy and helpful to follow the steps

  • Good tutorial, shame it doesnt even work :(

  • Why doesn't it work for you mate?

  • where do u get your designs from e.g blue crystals design ect

  • Google, and wallpaper sites.

  • ye thats rite im makin a mixtape album cover.

wud be excellent if u can help??

    thanks 4 the reply.

  • Hi, sorry for my late reply! Been busy instantly. Hm, have you tried setting the feather too around 1-2? Or you could use the shape blur. But then of course your picture will be a little bit blury. Hope this did help some at least.

  • excellent video thats exactly wat i wanted 2 no. do u no how 2 cut perfectly around people aswell please??
