  • It is a beautiful Hindi song sung and music by Hindus

  • Like many old songs this one is also heart warming. If all couples listens with understanding may be the divorce cases could drop.!Amrat Davda

  • ek khoobsurat ehsas.brilliant lyrics, superb singing, soothing composition, expertly performed by Tarun Bose and Sulekha Pandit.i still touchingly remember/cherish the expression on Tarun Bose's face in the last scene at the Railway Station of this classic film Anupama.

  • Wonderfyul song

  • Let's enjoy this beautiful song without fighting with one another.

  • Beautifull song

  • Deehrey dheerey machal aye dil e beqaraar koi aata hai. Rooth ke pahle jee bhar sataungi mein, jab manainge woh maan jaoungi mein. dil pe rahta hai aissey mein kab ekhtiiyaar.

Kitne khoobsuat alfaaz hain aur kitni achi tarah se Lata ji ne unko gaya hai. This is one of the best songs of Lata ji & it is an evergreen song.. One can listen to it again and again and never get tired of it. Beautiful upload Khandeel ji. You have picked out a rare beautiful pearl hidden in a shell..Thank you so much.

  • @MrPakfaisal Thank you Faisal jee for this amazing comment. Aaj lagta hai aap ache ache comment kar ke hi soyengey. :) Han Lata jee ka jawab nahi. Asimple but beautiful song. Such songs remain evergreen , I am sure many generations will enjoy it. ''Pearl hidden in a shell'' :) is for you .

  • Ahat, daman, khushboo, qadmon, sola singhar, dheeray dheeray, beqarar, rootho, iqtiar, parchaiyan, angan, are al l common urdu words, the mastery was the poet's who wovethese individual pearls into a necklace and Lata sang them like an angel. Now someone replace all the above URDU

words with hindi and ask Lata to sing them, please!!

  • Just to make it clear, this is urdu, not hindi, both are sister languages, urdu is a newer language and derived from hidi sanskrit arabic persian etc, but bollywood owes a lot urdu poets and writers and still dioes, we identify with theses ongs as we speak these words every day in our lifetimes, they are common words to us , of course Lata got the tallafuz right or it would have been a disaster! urdue speakers will understand what i mean.

  • Simply Perfect Romantic Song in all respects...

  • wah wah !! bahut khoob

  • @daddy12345

Too many low class listeners attempting to spoil perfection with small minded comments. Ignore them...

  • I cant believe there is hate propaganda going on in this beautiful song......the language is 'beautiful music', not hindi or urdu...

and the lyrics are Indian...go figure, it wasnt made in Karachi but in Mumbai

and no one has a copyright on Urdu anyway it is a language, annyone can learn to speak it..

  • Anupama Beautiful movie, Shashikala so nice, Tarun Bose looks good, Music by Hemant Da & Lata Didi da jawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab nahin.

  • @poissondelamer Sur its Urdu, not Hindi, as many would like to think.! No other language can express this kind of poetry , other than Urdu. Thanks for your comments!

  • @khandeel thanks,fo yours reply, yours words show love and resepct with Urdu language.

such kaha he kisi ne"wo yaar he mera kushboo ki trah, jis ki zubaan Urdu ki trah.

    take care,

    good luck.

  • @khandeel : I thought Hindi and Urdu are like sister languauges.. As fas as I understand this song is mix of both.... And thats what we all enjoy in such beautiful poetry... The sangam of the 2 languages and the cultures has produced great outcomes... Thanks for posting this song

  • @khandeel

Hindi and Urdu are sister languages. Two sides of the same coin.

  • Dear @poissondelamer ,

Just for your info - to take only the starting words of the song as an instance -"Dheerey" is a hindi word "Dhairya" ( Sanskrit ) which means Slow .

So lets enjoy the music as is rather than tagging it as Hindi or Urdu.

  • @asitagarwal hindi of today takes 99% words from Urdu.the langauge of song is Urdu.

if u dont like Urdu then dont listen Urdu song.

ask lata and mukesh who got fameémoney from Urdu songs and langauge, bye

  • @poissondelamer If you look at history, urdu/hindustani/hindi are the same language, evoluted from mixture of khadi boli and persian/turkic languages around the 18th century. Then British India(whose major language was Hindustani) was partitioned into Pakistan and India, Pakistan called it Urdu(although name itself is older), India called it Hindi(recent name). To furthur divide them, people filtered and added persian/arabic and sanskrit loanwords to Urdu and Hindi respectively.

  • @poissondelamer Yes indeed Urdu(Hindustani) enables beautiful poetry. And in *my* subjective opinion urdu shayari is much more beautiful than the sankritised hindi kavita.

  • @poissondelamer Ok so when 95% of the word are of sanskrit or hindi it is not hindi but when 5% of the word are of arabic origin it became Urdu right!!! Stop looking at everything from islam, arab, urdu, prism and please please please stop proving supermacy of one language over the other. Just keep it simple it is music and enjoy it as music.

  • @anamika1roy Oh! shut up God-damned trap........................ If all the songs in Bollywood are written in Hindi then they wouldn't remain songs......Thyey would become Frigging BHAJANS.......... The difference between Urdu And Hindi Is the like the difference between the singing of a Nightingale and cawing of a crow. :D

  • @poissondelamer

It is HIndi written in India Bharat, Hindostan.

  • @sunila155 its pure 100000000% Urdu song, get it transalte in hindi sanskirt or english or french, this beautyful Urdu song will loss its charm and sweetness.

who you are to name it as hindi, while poet of this song claims its as Urdu.

hindi is not langauge of music and melody, its Urdu,Urdu,Urdu,Urdu,Urdu.bye.

  • @poissondelamer Certainly this is urdu, lets call a spade a spade, no poetry like this can be said other than in urdu , my beautiful mother tongue, and what the urdu poets wrote Lata sang and made immemorial< i wont put hindi down as it is an ancient and beautiful language too but let Lata sing this song in hindi and then lets see how many relate to it or even understand it! sorry but that is the truth, we identify

  • @Bab8291 thanks for yours comment, God bless you, enjoy the world most sweet&expressive langauge Urdu.

this langauge gave fame, money and identity to indian film industry,

another name of Urdu is also TAJ MAHAL,

It's so true song, for them who understand love is a matter of understanding, not matter of dirty or valgure love. I love this song. Thanks a lot Khandeel, for this nice song. Take care.

Yes, Love like this is hard to see on bollywood screens now. Its all about cheap and vulgar gimmicks. Thank you for your appreciation.:)

  • @Tanyalysha "Ooske daaman ki khushboo hawao mein hai, ooske kadmon ki aahat hawao mein hai" It is ooske kadmon ki aahat fizaawon mein hai not hawao

  • This song is from the movie, Anupama.

You have viewed it from my channel khandeel~

  • I am sorry I realised my mistake after sending you the comment. That was really funny but anyway I am sorry about that.

  • No Problem! I thought that was funny too!

  • Great Lyric and great performance by singer Lata

  • Thank you, for your appreciation!

  • What deep love expression is there in" Mujhko choone lagi oonki parchaaiya" That even the shadows are more powerful than the lovely one. but nowadays, parchaaiyan to door ki baat hai, and who was ever called lovely one, feels now a days like hatelyone.. Not even the presence can do anything. So lovely words, this kind of love only stays in songs and thoughts for some, but there are some lucky too. Whose life is more precious than song.

  • I know what you mean....the lyrics and composition with the actress all have done their part to perfection!Thank you!

  • Thank you,for your amazing comments.

The conception of love has changed so much...I agree with your thoughts. But love is experienced by very few....true love is not a common fortune!

  • Only L.M. could have manged this song.

  • Aaaah brings back memories...

Dhire Dhire Machal aay Dil a Bekarar

  • AAH AAN JAAN MAAAN

  • koi aata haii

  • lovely

  • The usual melodious rendition by Lataji and a romance-soaked lyric. Would you please tell the viewers the names of the two stars, the composer and the lyricist? I can't identify them, though my guess about the music director would be Madan Mohan or Roshan. The male actor seems a bit stiff but the female one is very natural, with lovely lip and eye movements. Thanks for the post.

  • Music is by Hemant Kumar

  • I think she is Tarla who joined Dharmendra in his first film.

    Kanwal

  • Thanks for the info,KC.

  • Wow!! a Super Song from film Anupama.
