There really are no words I can find that would do justice not only to this song,but k.d lang's ENTIRE lifeswork in music...It's sad that nashville just could not see the true potential in her and how she is truly one in a trillion,there is nobody else who can hold a candle to k.d. lang.They didn't give her the fair shot she really deserved.Its also a blessing in a way,if she hadn't left country we would not have been able to see what she can really do with her voice and what she can lend it to

I don't think there is a lovelier voice out there today. kd's voice makes you think of smoke and satin, fire and ice, all at the same time. She is spot-on and pitch perfect. I love the way she hits one note, then slides higher or lower - never dropping for a second the perfection of tone. This is the real deal, people. Voices don't get better than this. And aside from being truly talented, the woman is NICE!

When I first heard that "Duane Eddy" style guitar leadin and was hooked into it, I mean like, right now! Then when I heard K.D.Lang's haunting voice. I knew she would be an influence if she got the airtime and had one or two more hits so this one wouldn't be overplayed. She has done quite well and I like that.
