great song, but not original version,I have heard a different version and i have a promo video on tape which was on the chart show but don't know how to get it on to you tube
I got all their albums plus some 12inch vinyl ep's. Saw them live 3 times + chatted to them after 1 gig . RCP decerved more recognition than they got.
beautiful song, beautiful memories, Liverpool was on its arse in the 80s (was it ever anything different?), but the music and the spirit was very much on its feet. Anyway, I remember standing next to Siobhan Maher in the Lomax one night and thinking I'd gone to heaven :)
Única rádio na época (Belo Horizonte) que tocou esse som: Rádio Terra FM 99,9 de Belo Horizonte - rádio terra...........o som do seu mundo......................líder de audiência.........Programa: Crossover.............a mistura sônica dos anos 90.
I got the full "Say Something Good" album in Mp3 with the song "What's Wrong With Dreaming". I really love this song. I first saw the video 20 years ago in1990, it was awesome, I could listen again and again!
I saw these in 1990 at the Preston Guild Hall. We'd gone to see OMD on their "Sugar Tax" tour and the support groups were these and Gary Numan. Fantastic :)
the best brit band with female singer between years (1987-1992) was of course, transvision vamp with the famous wendy james !! in europe they were a phenomenon of mass !!
Siobhan is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She is beautiful inside and out and has a very happy life with a wonderful husband and two children. She volunteers in my child's class.
OMFG this reeeaaalllyyy takes me back. i remember the first time i saw RCP, it was at the Black Isle show, in the Scottish Highlands in the summer of 1987, or was it 88 or even 89 lol. i would have been a young lad at the time, somewhere in my late teens. Ah! great days lol. Any chance of a reunion?????
Was it gun and Goodbye Mr Mackenzie? i also remember seeing Deacon Blue at one of those Black Isle Summer gigs as well, although maybe that was the following year? My memory aint what it used to be lol.
OMG so she was, completely forget she was there that night, which is bizarre considering i was a fan (Goodbye Mr Mackenzie that is, Garbage not so much) lol. Anyway, its been nice reminiscing, about what was a wonderful period of my life. life was so much simpler(as was i probably lol) back then - Music, Girls, Your Mates lol. Now What are the chances of that reunion?????
Anyone got Carry the Blame by this band? I had the single and it held a personal message. never seen a video or live performance. Forgot about this song but it's fab. Ah memories....
Played the album 'say something good'the other day and It sounds as brilliant as when I first bought It (how many years ago?). It has stood the test of time.
I was at Wembly as well-I already had their album and loved them live.just now discovered and still love their music.
