NO NO NO - I thought it was all good until I saw a 120 MINUTE cassette at 1:03 - oh, they were such rubbish. Terribly thin, no dynamic range and they got chewed up at the slightest glitch, they should have been banned!!!!!
Radical. True radicalousness. Cassettes are like super avilyn formulated high fidelity high precision anti resonance dynamic rigid constructed cockroaches. Or twinkies. Catch my drift?
I bought a few of these TDKs 00:19 in the early '80s in black and light grey, but they were very pricey back then.. And these Memorex here 01:03 had the clapperboard style case.
These see-through ones 01:23 were dirt cheap by the late '80s.
Quite the collection of cassettes my friend, Happy Sound at 1:43 was my favorite though. A few weeks ago someone had 2 unopened Bang & Olufsen blank cassettes for about $20 that I was tempted to buy.
the memories. TDK & Maxell (the black tape) r the greatest of all time!!

Just got some TDK FE-90's and I'm pretty impressed with the results. Generally though I stick to TDK SA-90 or MA-XG - awesome.
