I hav 4 rabbits called Snow,Shepard,Sandy and Shadow.Shepard & Sandy are gurls.rest are boys.I tried at all of them and Shepard,Sandy and Shadow only worked.Snow dosnt like t be hypnotized.
The thing is that he let's me pet him without stoping me or running away thats weird I though bunnies are scared to be petted
He also stays close to me all the time when I back from school it's weird but I like it :)if u want to see him I am putting one one YouTube probally by tomorrow
@MrRoachie111 Bunnies have nerves running down the back of their head. When placed on their back and gently stroked in the neck they actually become super relaxed.
@wumblemumbleiscute No, rabies can only be transferred through a bite. If the scratch puffs up it might either be infected or irritated but it is NOT a sign of rabies.
This is called a "bunny trance" It's sort of a "pause button" they feel relaxed in this state, just be sure to support them, if they aren't supported, they will jerk around to correct themselves and they can actually break theirs spines in this process.
@sonictheawesomehog2 It works on some but not on others. Of the 3 I have had, it always worked on one but hardly ever worked on the others. One of them does let me hold him like a baby but he is not in a trance though.
Its only a natural response because its what they do when a predator comes around. and it does, in fact, bother them. Putting rabbits in a trance is not good for them. Its a state a fear. They go into this state when they're trying to "play dead" for a predator. The predator wont have a hard grip on his prey because he thinks its dead, this gives the bunny a better chance to escape. please do not do this to your bunnies. It stresses them out, it doesnt relax them.
Snow: Ahhhhh Yeaaaaahhh.

That's really bad for the bunny, because your tilting his head back and all the blood rushes to his head.

He's not relaxed he's scared shitless!! This is a reaction to being attacked in the wild. :/
