2 years before this my older brother represented Dalbrae Academy on the ROV team. They competed in San Diego and lost because their backboard didn't include a picture of their robot. The whole backboard was the picture of the robot, And it was professionally made. They poored 4 bottles of shampoo in the pool... showed them!!

@PlayingPanda The foam floats will compress as you descend and you will loose buoyancy. Try and use a rigid foam that will not compress as the pipe foam does. It's frustrating to descend and then not be able to get back to the surface because you have lost too much buoyancy. At the SoCal regional, a few teams built agar stabbers, a thin pipe that they just jabbed into the agar for a sample and then blew it out once at the surface.

bilage pumps are only good for fine controls you need fans to get speed but my team amherst regional high school only used billage pumps and we came

@808Functions Don't use foam buoyancy aides! The best way to stay buoyant is to use a pontoon system.
