  • trop mignon !

  • Hes gonna be a great show jumper someday!

  • Official tests have proven that too FREQUENTLY, too HIGH and too LONG jumping your foal can damage the growing discs in bones and joints. As with everything, if there's "too" in front of it, it's bad. Letting your foal do A low jump like a cavaletti once a while isn't killing nor hurting them, as they are making far creepier jumps of joy in the meadow. -sigh-

  • "Youuu-" -.- *mute*

  • aaaaaawww

  • To everyone who says that "jumping foals isnt wrong, they do it in the wild" well, yes. and someitmes, foals in the wild dont survive because of such things. WE know that jumping them to early can damage them. therefore its just common sense for us to hold off on jumping until they are fully grown because we KNOW that it can do damage.

  • people talk about jumping foals is rong but in the wild they have to be able to do it to survive and in the field you often see them making their own imaginary jump course as they charge around the field like they are on steroids :)

  • not blaming you but whoever owns that foal and gets it to jump, they SHOULD know it's not right it could really hurt that foal if it hit its legs on the jump.

  • I liked the song! Can anyone tell me what the fuckin name of that song! Ive sourched everywhere! -.-

  • class

  • I do not like to watch foals jumping; yes they can jump pretty high and may even become one of the best show jumpers but jumping foals at this age can bring damage to the foals legs and tendons. Please don't just think of yourselves, think for the foals too. x

  • I had to press mute on the video. Neg.

  • To everyone saying this jump is too high:

If the jump really was that high, it would be too high, but if you look carefully, I am pretty sure that the foal just WAY overjumped. If you watch his mom in front of him, she basically steps over it. I am pretty sure this is just a very small jump and a very happy, bouncy foal!

  • cute :)

  • Awww! Hes so cute, future jumper!^-^

  • wow how can that foal jump-so big the jump was little and the foal was jumping so big

  • OMG look at the baby jumo but i agree with GGRLLOLZ123 XD

  • That will destroy the foals life. He still has croup high and he will have for a while longer, and that will damage his back and legs because he's probably having to twist his body in an awkward way to get over the jump and if anyone rides him both of them will be in danger

  • @jude6156 You realize that if that was a 'wild' foal, it would possibly be presented with an obstacle of that height and if the dam jumps it, he may follow her.

  • @jude6156 well I just wanna point out that they aren't making him go over the jump, he just did it. But I do agree with you.

  • Is this Action Breaker, Sergio Alvárez Moya's stallion?

Sorry if you don't understand me, but my English is very bad. :S

  • he has one of the best back ends in jumping that i have ever seen

  • so cute!

  • i love how he jumps it like its a huge jump <3

  • Cute!

  • Saah Cute :)

  • How can people who like horses also like such shit baboon music?

  • @dreamdiction While you may not like that culture of music, we should be grateful that anyone enjoys horses. With the amount of horses out there that are being starved, abandoned etc... the more people who appreciate them the better. Regardless of what music they listen to. While it is not my favorite, I am no one to judge what someone else likes to listen to. Mute it and admire the horse.

  • As an isolated incident, no it wouldn't do any permanent damage. Regular jumping session like this can of course lead to problems later. How can some commenters on here be so ignorant! If it was a case of getting the foal used to jumping equipment etc why not just put a pole on the ground to start?

    All seems so pointless.

  • Omg this iss ssooooo cute :) he/she looks like they would be a good english Jumper :)

  • wow. such a flowing jump for a little thing. thats a jumper right there. looks like both mama and baby are loving it.

  • aah this is so cute! is it a jumper?

I'm sorry if a jumper is unclear word for you, but here in Netherlands we call horses can jump so well: jumper or jumpers, jumping ponies

  • epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • a perfect example of someone who doesnt have a bloody clue

  • I think if this was going to cripple the foal, then all wild horses would be crippled at age 2. Any of you ever watch wild horse foals play? Think that is ruining its young, developing legs? Did you ever think that is HOW they develop their legs? Do you stop your baby from walking? Might hurt his developing legs. Dont take my word for it, Watch the nature programs when they talk about baby animals. Everything they do at play strengthens them for later life. sheesh

  • wooooooooooooooooooow you can go ride in to jumping things i dont now the word into englis :P

  • aww:) idk why people are freaking out about this, plenty of foals do this anyway out in the pasture. It's the racehorses that develop bad knee problems from being worked too hard too young, not a foal jumping a little vertical.

  • CUTEEE!!

  • people that think they know everything are so fucking annoying, the foal is doing what comes naturally, they fight in the wild and kick and bite eachother which is worse than a 20cm jump, thimbs up if you agree?

  • Nice tuck on the foals part

  • ppl need to CHILL out. foals jump around and play fight all the time in the paddock. not a big deal unless ppl are actually forcing the foals to do this every day or whatnot

  • stop saying "your going to ruin that colt's life" omg did you not read the end of the video? these arent his/her horses its just a random clip!!!!!

  • letting him jump with his damn will probably do wonders for helping him mature into a brave jumper when he's older. he probably wont balk and any jump

  • People, this jumping isn't bad for him. I've been working with and studying horses for 16 years, and this kind of activity is vital to the healthy growth of the foal. It's not cruel, it's not malicious, and unless it's all he does for 18 hours of the day, it's not harming him in the least. It's encouraged. So please, check your facts before blabbering about animal cruelty.

  • so nature is bad the'd do it in the wild

  • Omg how do u screw youre horse!

This so bad if u let them jump when they are to young

  • aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhh that was sssooo cute!!!!!

  • soo jong and already so talented <3

  • Worst Music Ever

  • woooooooow!!! superhorse :)

  • He is all grown up now and a major showjumper-him and his mom got made into Breyer (model horses) :D

  • could do without the song....

  • the foal gowing to be a show jummper

  • this is amazing. so cute too!

  • can he go any higher?

  • dat horse is a jumping champ

  • whats up with the song?? Lol

  • Aww there so in sync at the start

  • Just gonna add that the correlation between jump ability as a foal, and ability as an adult is reasonably weak.

  • whoevers horses they are they have a good jumper on the way

  • This is like the cutest video ever. I want to breed my mare now. :)

  • CUTE!!!! but not good to jump when they r young and I no he/she is not yours...... Mom: jumps...Foal: Look I can go HIGHER MOMMY!

  • hate to tell you, but he/she whatever... was just following the Mom. when my best friends horse had her baby and started getting active he jumped (by accident, cause foals that dont have healthy strong legs shouldn't be jumping and putting that preasure on his legs.

  • great jumper but they shouldnt let him jump that early he's legs arent developed and strong enough

  • awww! Cute! you can tell that hes gonna be an amazing jumper someday! But you shouldn't jump him yet. he's too little with tiny little legs. he'll never be able to jump later if you jump him now. but cute:)

  • Over jump ,much? lol, this was cutee!

  • that horse could be one of the best show jumpers i've ever scene. but if they keep jumping him this young he won't be able to jump or even canter when he's older because he will have leg issues. i don't know what these people (you said this foal wasn't yours) were thinking jumping him this young. it's stupid, mean, and totally wasting a horse's life

  • @GGRLLOLZ123really i never knew that! haha how does it make them have leg problems when there older? :)

  • @CaseyDaneDressage yeah i didn't know that either until i got a young horse that i'm training now. it makes them have leg problems because their legs have not fully developed yet and so it's putting a lot of pressure on their legs. and since the legs are not fully developed and strong they can get seriously hurt and grow wrong. it's kinda the same reason you don't ride a baby horse. it's too much pressure on their legs and it hurts them and gives them leg problems in the future

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 Agreed :). The growth plates in a foals legs are not sealed - this is the part where the entire bone grows from. If it gets damaged, it can lead to premature fusing, uneven fusing (offset legs), and possibly arthritis later in life. Showjumpers in europe don't last very long at high level anyway - maybe it'd be longer if most foals weren't subjected tot his.

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd thanks u for agreeing. i hate when people get all mad about this. because it's the truth. and in some form i consider animal abuse

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd

Foals jump over and up in the pasture all the time and at a very early age. Obviously intensive jumping would be disastrous for the development, but this at a young age is great. It doesn't only help them with experience towards jumping, but later on for jumping poles. Most people don't do this very often just perhaps a jump a week, foals usually go mental without their mothers for an hour or so, so they try to get the mare and foal out for a couple of jumps to keep sane:)

  • @LittleGagaMonsterx Though my thoughts vary a bit, I think it's really great that you replied without getting shitty at me! Good stuff, thankyou! I really appreciate other peoples thoughts when they're nice and polite :)

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd

I agree, some people take it too far :), you're welcome.

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd try not to be mean at all. it's just the truth :)

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 i totally agree with u!!

  • @69racheybabes thanks

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 this jump is only small, therefore it shouldnt put enough pressure on his legs to damage them. Horses, especially foals, jump around all the time out in the field, my foal used to jump logs and other things in the field and this didnt harm her in the slightest. And just because it is a foal does not mean that it cannot get damaged later on in life, big jumps can damage any horse, this is only a small one and nothing to worry about, infact it is probably good for the foal.

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 hahaha, as if a foal in the wild would never jump anything, nor would it buck or stand on his hind legs. If you would observe horses in their natural suroundings, no i don't mean stables or paddocks, you would know they can do pretty silly things without hurting themselfs. Oh and another thing, they are not born with bandages around their legs, that is human foolishness too.

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 I doubt the owners taught it to jump. It looks like it learned from its mother, since it is following right after her.

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 Them weren't making it jump! It was jumping because it's mother was jumping!

  • @GGRLLOLZ123 i agree with you but it doesnt happen all the time, we jumped a foal a couple years back and hes doing madison square soon so...... im not contridictiing you though (sorry for my spelling im in a rush)

  • Annoying irrelevant song!

  • is that good for the foals legs and how young he his?

but i can clearly tell he is gunna be quite a jumper wen he/she grows up!!!! u go little guy/girl!!!!!

  • His gonna be the best show jumper ever -tear- his growing up!

  • i think he cleared it! :)

  • he got the leads to!

  • aww, he looks like he could clear 3 feet!

  • His knees were up to his chin... how cute!

  • soo cute!

  • Number 1 thing... That colt is doing what come natural. In the pasture my colts run and jump and kick each other and play rough.. That could hurt them worse than anything. Am I going to stop them.... NO!!!.... Yes their legs are developing but you can't stop them from doing what is natural and healthy for their legs and tendons to grow. AND the big benefit of this is, if they are going to be a jumping horse introducing them to this kind of activity without forcing them is WONDERFUL!!!

  • bunny!!! he is the cutest thing ive ever seen.

  • no he will never be a good jumper if u keep working him at a young age this is so stupid

  • @onunoliveira he wasnt working him so wow as you can see he was just following his mom can u be more clueless

  • @FarmersDaughter814 im not clueless the poor thing is working sure he is following is mother what is natural to foals not natural is jumping can u not see he is putting a lot of pressure on is pasterns ?????????

  • Wow he will become a great jumper!

  • that is one goood jumpin foal

  • lol major over jump =P

  • gonna be such a good jumper when he's older!

  • OMG THE FOAL CLEARED THE JUMP BY LIKE ... well ... lets just say he jumped like 2 time the size of the jump. and fyi ppl, the foal CHOSE to jump. they didnt force him, or maske him. he could of refused! so, h eliked it. c^^\__ <- thats a horse.

  • look at me! I'm jumping just like mommy! Where's my treat!?

  • um my trainer had a foal and was riding the mom and the foal was in the ring and she jumped a like 2 6 jump and is FINE!! its not bad for them if it isnt a lot

  • I can't believe you made that baby do that! Its disgusting!

  • @mylasergirl clearly, no one MADE the foal do anything.

  • That waas adorableeeeeee!!!!

  • the foal is fine.

  • gah, so whats the point of this apart from ruining that poor little foals bones!

  • Absolutely horrible song choice -.-

  • amazing!!!!!!!!

  • That horse is gunna be a jumper! haha

  • omg it jumps with so much room to spare awwwwwwww sooo cute

  • OMG cuuuuuute!!!!!!!

  • TOOOOOO CUTE XD

  • The foal reminds me of an antelope, when they try and show the lions how fit they are. The first time he's a bit unsure but he seems to love the second time judging by the speed he ran at it. So cute :)

  • XD I love how the foal jumps like the jump is a bazillion feet high and his mum practically steps over it xD <333

  • SOOOO CUTE!!!!!

  • he/she is gonna be a good jumping-horse ;)

  • I love this video!

  • Disgusting. Is this what you call foal care? You should be fucking shot.

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd your language is atrocious, your name indicates you are a troll. Unlike us talented riders, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. A foal this tall, on thick loose sand over a jump that he/she CLEARLY aced, with no lead rope forcing it to move around will be perfectly fine. The foal with partake in higher, more frequent jumps than that in it's own free time. So. Dont wreck youtube and this lovely person's video with your hate remarks. Im done. Full stop

  • @MoNgOoSeSxiNxmYxbEd Haha dude, seriously. No body was forcing this foal to do it, this looks like a high dollar place, I think they know what they are doing. He is in soft dirt, and foals bounce and jump higher than that in the feild like 90 times a day when they are playing, and not to mention, on harder ground. Chilllll oooout.

  • @MangoRoX87 No one has to force a foal when mum is around, and a foal is made to leap around, but theres a big difference in that and jumping beleive it or not. There's a difference between knowing and training horses, and understanding their physiology. If you'd studied as many radiographs of growth plates and incomplete ossification as I had you'd maybe look at it a different way. Sorry if I offended you, just upsets me when people do this just because "It's what we always do".

  • the video is proppa shit, but the song absolutely made it, thank you soldier boy, thank you

  • so cute, following in mom's 'steps'!

  • Holy Crap That is amazing but in my Opinion They Shouldn't have been Jumping him at a Young age his Legs aren't Fully Grown or Strong..

  • Not good, he is not fully devolped! Age 3 is when you start work like that!

  • @MarachiAcres not developed till age 6

  • i so wanna ride him when hes older or her if its a her
