Imo this song is one of the pinnacles of the Dubstep/Ambient genre, taking us through a deep, minimalistic journey of nature and ambiance. Masterpiece, 10/10

I'm one of those lame people who first heard the word "dubstep" associated with an artist who shall not be named, so I am educating myself on the wider genre of dubstep. (I'll admit that I do like some of that artist's tracks due to the pace and NIN-ish influence.) But when I'm chilling out, this (Kryptic Minds) will definitely be on the playlist.

@triftenC Honestly, yes and no. Dubstep is such an all-encompassing genre that it spans from fast paced dance to stuff like this. Even looking at Kryptic Minds' oeuvre, you can see that they range from full fledged ambient (Distant Dawn) to more hyped songs like Badman. So yes, this is dubstep, and so is Skrillex and Excision. :)

Just look around to find good dub. Since you've already found "The Krypt" with this song early on, you're well on your way to exploring the full field of dubstep.

I like Kryptic Minds because of the ambient touch - but on the same time I enjoy some parts of skrillex(while the music is too ...childish in general) - I would love a mix. Very filthy and extreme on the one hand, but also with ambient on the other - do you know a band/producer that does things like that? Ajapai and ety are nice but somehow too wicked - somehow. I really enjoyed "Six Degrees".
