I think whats happening with all these Julia covers is that people are not just covering the songs, they are trying to mimic Julia's voice and pronunications and even her facial expressions (and some even her appearance and attitude...the latter cant be imitated)instead of just taking a fantastic song and doing it their own way which is what Julia does. Listen to her Say Anything covers...she takes great songs and makes them her own.
