I think you might be exagerating a bit too much when you say "it doesn't even look like caporales." Sure Alma dances with more enthusiasm than San Simon but that is Alma's style of dancing and both groups look great dancing their style.

BTW I do not think you have the authority to decide what is and what is not caporales, unless you have a PhD in caporales.

alma guys lacked HARDCORE. they looked like they were fucking dragged on stage and MADE to dance.

usa guys were good technically, but outside of gay hattricks they just did tropa steps that EVERYONE and THEIR MOM does. Same goes with raices. Technically good, but boring.

I cant wait to dance en Puno, porque they are doing that new hi tech stuff that kicks ass. This steps I think my grandfather invented :p and he told all the negritos what I say about Puno'z saya lolz

Agree, what Alma does is not Caporales anymore to refined, but hell - whatever I enjoy it all.
