  • YO dude your better off doing music videos half the video is DARKEN.but at least the musice was great

  • i like your shelter model its like a dome and nice fire place that thing is cool

  • These guys are out there doing it! Yeah, they made some mistakes, but that's how we all learn...so, let up! Great video you guys!

  • I'm also a ring maker, but hard to show you any rings as I've sold all the ones I've made except the original 1st one.... I use stainless steel and a variety of machines to make fighting rings, even drill and tapped to make SS Knuckles and have attachments of all kinds, spikes, razors, etc. =D Find out what ring size you are, I'm rebuilding my workshop!

  • One of my next projects is a forge, and some railroad knives. Out of Highschool I worked for a knife making guy still around called Wayne Clark. I've always loved daggers, but I have some really nice machetes too. Weapon building is a fun hobby I've taken on, my particular favorite being a 3/4th inch blow dart, and soon blow dart gattling gun.

  • @PyR0Star sweet dude i just finished quenching my first knife out of an old file, just gotta clean sharpen and put on the handles

  • is a harp needed for this shelter? I'll jam with ya!

  • @PyR0Star ha ha dude that'd be rad!

  • @jeffthecheff building a collection of different keys so I can play in just about anything. I hunt tunnels to play in for the reverb. Where I live, there are tunnels everywhere that provide tranquility and different sounds. Bring me Irish whistle usually too =D

  • What I like about this video is you're using what's handy...not what's best for the job. In a survival situation, you use what's handy, not what you wish you had. (Study knot tying. Use the proper size rope or cord for the job, when and if you can.) As for the shelter, if it's ugly, but it still keeps you warm and dry, it ain't ugly. The good tunes made this video well worth watching.

  • Nice!

  • great idea i've never seen before --- making wood wedges to split other wood !

pehaps you could do a " how-to " vid on all the stuff you did to make that shelter.

  • how old you are?????

  • @rokolmokol 19 and 20 at the time, why?

  • Woe, i'm supprised yo did not have any trouble bainging the axe heads like that...i've always been told to NEVER to do that.

  • @CPLBSS88 lol your probably right, but it works and we gotta do what we gotta do!

  • @jeffthecheff use a piece of wood from a split log as a mallet. You never want to put your axe at risk like that.

  • @BravoAlphaLimaJR I learned the hard way, luckily I still have my finger from wearing thin gloves. Wicked scar though =D Hell this was just last december =D

  • fuckin sick!

  • It is weird to see in bushcraft so big waisting with rope :) Rope is like gold (try to make a role of cortage by your hand :)). I build similar dome shaped structure without rope (I used only 4 weedee(twisted willow branch to final tighten structure in crosslinks(hubs). use similar process to weawing basket in bigger scale :) Start with triangle and weave in next and next branchess to stronger structure, interlock branches together. It works nicely.

  • how did you start?

  • OMG ..the music !! Lord haven't heard this in yearssssssssssssssss !! TOTALLY GETS 2 THUMBS UP for CCR.. EXCELLENT

OMG it's strong enough for you to stand on !! WOW they made 2x4s... hey where the rest of video >>wanted to see finished ..oh well really neat video anyways!!!..little to much sawing for me tho...but think a girl could do this too : )

  • perfect music

  • What sort of rope did you guys use?

Great video, you put some good effort into that shelter!

    Cheers from The UK!

  • @pikulicluka Thanks alot! We just used a large roll of twine from a local hardware store.

  • @pikulicluka it looks like bailing twine---the stuff farmers use to make hay bails.

  • I dont get it...watching two people rope a few peices of wood together and chop down a tree and slice logs in half...could have been a little more footage of the actual building process.

  • @ArctusCanusLupus check the my video "sweat lodge", there is building of the frame in that, i will try to get more in depth on the next shelter for you!

  • @jeffthecheff you guys are lucky to have that kind of comradery and being able to do projects like that

  • @jeffthecheff pretty impressive. theres a really cool native feel to you guys XD

  • Damn... Finally someone doing something original! Man keep the real stuff coming and walk your own path! Walk well my friends...

  • Damn... Finally someone doing something original! Man keep the real stuff coming and walk your own path! Walk well my friend...

  • Nice use of hatchets, i see that eastwings can take a beating!

  • Great skills guys!! like the shelter must be a fun project.... Keep on bushcrafting. Greg

  • creedence!

  • @jeffthecheff Cheers for the creedence heads up man. Also, do you have a Pathfinder Scout Tomahawk? I could've sworn I saw it on your channel, but I canne find it again.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 yea i have one, i made a vid then took it down because i wanted to make a better one, havn't done it yet though

  • @jeffthecheff Is that the one where you can take off the axe head from the handle for easy rain carry? Just seen another bloke's one, and he implied it was very challenging to remove the head.

  • What music is this? It is goddam cool
