Really they shouldn't have bothered at all. The 'M21 EBR' and lack of M1911A1 in COD MW2 are less forgivable (and another bolt like m24).

Its not actually a montage, which usually has many different clips. Its the opening but with Carl Orff's'O fortuana' from carmina burana played over the top. I still like the video, but if it uses many different scenes it could be a better tribute to a great movie.

People seem to forget this is a satirical and unfortunately, accurate, encapsulation of America's standing it has created for itself in today's world. It carries on like it is indeed 'World Police' and the sad fact is that it's gung-ho republican government brought the whole of the middle east teetering on the edge of total meltdown. Now, finally, someone who shows a little bit of long term thinking can perhaps guide their grotty country into the light.

Like I do understand what you're saying, of course there is depth to your argument that makes it almost impossible to just say you're wrong, but in some actions I feel America had justification for intervening.

@Crabpeopleseb Like I've taken an interest in the Iraq war academically, and while of course there are issues with how the war was administered, I cannot fault the rationale behind moving to war. The main reason presented for the war by the Bush administration in every formal government statement about the war was simply the removal of Saddam Hussein, or regime change. Do you think Saddam should have been allowed to stay in power?

He failed to uphold the terms of the Gulf War Truce, including the two U.N. resolutions. One of which, UN Security Council Resolution 1441, was basically a war ultimatum. America essentially went to war to enforce it. It was Saddam’s violation of the Gulf War Truce that provided the legal basis for sending American troops into Iraq. Clearly, the U.N. resolutions would not have been upheld without the use of military force. It's a bit drastic, but we seen how appeasement worked in WWII so...

@ElysianKing Well technically we didn't see how it worked in ww2, as the appeasement was a series of schemes perpetuated by Chamberlain to AVOID an outbreak of a war which the battered 'victors' could ill afford to get into. The failure of appeasement was one of the main reasons FOR ww2, not during the war silly!
