@saxophone134 Not at all, there are quite a few melody, counter melody parts, and its 16th note chromatic runs at the fast part, its not the typical tenor part.

i fuckin love Tokyo kosei wind orchestra. FUCKIN LOVE THEM. JUST GENIUS...even at a slower pace (my opinion), it was still genius

@jindynasty Yes, the pace was slower. It's more than likely a conscious decision on the part of the director so that the people playing runs don't flub them. At a slower pace they're far more manageable. I played this in High School band. It was such an amazing piece. I loved it, and loved the challenge that it presented. Most of the other students hated it, but I'd rather be challenged by a piece than simply play something that's easy.
