i dont know why sega don't understand what they are making wrong... the best part of sonic unleashed have been the day levels. with the graphics, the gameplay and the speed of sonic i missed, it made a lot of fun. but the werehog missions at night... why are they dong this? and now they made sonic and the dark knight... why!?! they are able to make a sonic game like the day levels in unleashed, but they have to give sonic a sword and put him in another time...

Well I never minded the werehog thing; but it sorta was a turn off to the game. Ever since Sonic 2006 "speed" isn't what sega focuses on now. Lately it's just been putting Sonic into a story that becomes completely irrelevant to Eggman and him. (- -)

I do say, Day time levels in Sonic Unleashed pretty much would've made the game right there enough.

I guess Sega is trying to make Sonic "cooler" yet he's cool enough as he is. :D

It's all a matter of personal opinion, really.

I personally loved the game.

The daytime gameplay was swift and fluid, and the Werehog gameplay is reminiscent of the God of War games.

Beyond that, the environments, music, graphics, and everything are beautiful.

The PS2 and Wii versions are smaller than the PS3 and 360 versions, but they're still amazing. If you don't have a PS3 or 360, like me, then definately get the PS2 or Wii version~

No, they're pretty similar.

Both God of War, and Sonic Unleashed's Werehog levels, all boast similar gameplay.

You run around on foot, brandishing sharp, deadly weapons that outstretch and swing like whips, and slash through and grapple enemies. Opening doors and treasure chests consists of a display of brute stregnth, and you can double jump.

I've got God of War, God of War II, and Sonic Unleashed Wii. You have to play them to see the similarities.

I also really enjoyed the storyline, and movie cut-scenes.

My one regret is that Eggman wasn't the final boss, as he is yet again upstaged by a more powerful boss.

I guess it all boils down to what kind of a Sonic fan you are...

If you're the kind of Sonic fan who eagerly anticipates each and every new Sonic game, plays them, and enjoys them all, then you're gonna love this game.

If you're the kind of Sonic fan that wants Sega to release a game you want them to make, then you probably won't. At which point, I advise waiting until the year 2010, when they finish Project Needlemouse.

well I played a demo of it. It's pretty nice i'm not gunna lie...kinda feels like sonic rush, 3d style. It's better the Sonic the Hedgehog 06, Worth a try =D.

depends on what ur looking for and what platform ur playing it on

if its the classic sonic experience or god of war theing, then posibly the xbox version is better

if its a new take and more of a square enix rpg ish felling then the wii i version is better

but yea, its great overall
