i do skateboarking, ive got the nikon d40 and when i take a picture the shutter snaps really quickly but the pic comes out blurred, why is this??

Have you got manual focus on or off... Because you need to focus!

set it to a higher aperture speed if you are shooting things in motion. Try 250 or 500.

i got the same as yours with standard lense and a Pentax film SLR with 50mm lense....
lol, no.... but im aiming to be a photographer.... lol.... im open to anykinds of tips and tricks... lol...
hey, nice shots especially that gate shot... try lowering your shutterspeed and do some panning shots... lol, see mine to.
did you edit the one at :21? srry i probably sound dumb haha.

i would work on your contrast alot of your stuff is focused on auto/ not really manually done.
right now your getting 100$ of your camera. Learn all about your camera and get your moneys worth!!
