  • wrong!! Banana = Banane, i'm from germany :)

  • Thats not how you pronounce excuse me :(

  • cred ca americanii ar trebui sa isi vada de limba lor.... accentul american nu trebuie folosit la pronuntarea cuvintelor in germana...

ar trebui sters acest video de pe youtube!

  • kaese... sounds like KAY-Seh not KAH-seh

  • i have a question,, when do you know how to use 'die' 'das' and 'der'?

  • @mrgoxx why??

  • i hate how i HAVE to say die das or der before each noun -_-

  • danke!

  • germans are mean, butter should not die

  • potatos is a tricky one

  • @PlumTreeLife not really

  • I love that you went straight to mango......(before apple, banana, orange, grapes...you know, the basics). I don't know why but that made me laugh.

  • omg does chopsticks really have a triple 's' in it? thats amazing

  • @ffsplayit "Ess|stäbchen" means "food/eating-sticks" and the word "Essen" (food) already has 2 s' and "stäbchen" (sticks) another one :)

  • @ffsplayit hmm if i had to tell you how to pronounce it I would say this: english 's' - english 'sh' - english 'tab' (long a) - german smooth 'ch' - english 'n'

  • Umm.. Toast schreibt man aber im deutschen genauso ;))

  • did u know that german and english can be very similar?? check my 5 th lesson on my channel to find out!

  • Der hamburglar

  • der Hamburger is the best :-D

    Mushroom is Der Pilz,Pilze,right?

  • @jesspodcast Pilz is singular, Pilze is plural.

  • der Hamburger is the best :-D

  • Vielen Dank

  • Your pronunciation is very good, no matter what others say .

when you consider where many words come from, you know that the pronunciation is exactly the same. even if words are written differently.

Or the contrary, words equally, but the pronunciation differs.

Toast, Rice, Fish, sugar, Butter (pommes frites and pizza are not german), Glass, Beer, Tea and so on...

It is mostly old anglo-saxon-like ...

for example old german "school"... different pronouncment same writting and meaning.. *bow*

  • are u eating while ur talkin?

  • @BonjourEmilyTao --- rude .........

  • @BonjourEmilyTao LOL no, I just have a very crappy microphone.

  • My German girlfriend says u suck

  • @spezza14 Wen saugt er? LOL

  • u need to work at your pronounciation of "ch" ;D

...u can pronounce it in 2 different ways

  • I thought Mushroom was der Pilze and die Pilzen for the plural form?

  • @Crazyjpg You are right... Mushroom is "der Pilz" and the mushrooms are "die Pilze".. plural...

Note the change of the subject ... from the male to the female in the plural.

"Der"- male / "Die" - female

  • Thank you

  • toast is german too so you write it "toast" too^^

    (chips= pommes (too))

glass is with only one "s"

    banana= banane

  • @Mellimelly23 sehr gut

  • thank you very much!!!^^

  • Nice job.. just one little correction.. ee in german is usually read as e, for instance See is read se not si.

  • hey,

    passed with distinction ;-)

you can also say die möhre

    die birne singular
