Nice dude! I am going to buy one of these and I wonder how you like it so far?
Do you play Xbox 360 on it? how is the picture quality?
Also how far away did you put yours to do maximum picture size? and what is the Max pic size? I used to have a NEC projector but sold it after my bulb died. I still have the 110" screen and i want to use it all if this can do it?
I also have an a240. I've noticed a buzzing sound on the quietest mode, but the fan drowns the buzzing out on the next louder mode. Do you have the same issue?
It's got a tiny bit of ambient noise from the fan in Eco2, but it's about quiet as the other projectors I have seen in stores. I don't really get a buzz.
@pcguru2000 I have some buzzing in my 2 week old XJ-245V. I am trying to decide whether or not to exchange it since it is still in the RMA period. However, if the buzzing is normal, then I won't bother since everything else is perfect. Have you had any additional concerns about this buzzing noise?
Update, it's been 11 months and now I get a very loud buzzing that goes away after about 20 minutes. Tried blowing highly compressed air inside in different ports thinking it's dust causing an imbalance but it hasn't helped. Tried putting it on eco 0 with high altitude fan...the helicopter sound wakes up the dead, but when I remove high altitude and put it back on 3, the buzzing is still there.
I'm also considering buying one of the casio beamers. The resolution is good, you get more lumens than with almost any other LED beamer, price is also okay (considering what your getting) but I have one very important question. As this beamer was more or less intended for office use, not home theater, is the response time good enough to watch action movies or play games ? Without ghosting or anything ? Thanks!
I have not quantified the input delay, but I play online games with it and have zero issues. When playing a movie off of a HDMI-out laptop, it is extremely difficult to detect the lag between the mirrored laptop screen. It isn't enough to detract from a fast paced online game. I use it for TV, gaming, and home theater only. (I'm going out of my way to put out information on the green slim projectors because it seems nobody else is at the moment.)
It has two basic light sources: Red LED and Blue laser. The some of the blue is also converted to green using a "fluorescent surface." So basically one color laser gives two colors, and the red LED fills in the rest.
@jayls5 thx for the info about it...so does it last long like led projector? coz i wanna buy led projector coz i love to watch tv and play games and my daily use is 5hr but the problem is Led projector is not bright yet and when i saw urs it look too birght and i got confused what to go for and what last longer this or led plz help me out here... and thx for ur reply
You can put it in an even lower power setting than the one seen in the video, and that drops it another ~20% in brightness (power consumption will be less than most TV's and it's whisper quiet). If that's not enough, you can also still control the brightness manually in settings. You're fully warrantied for 3 years or 6000 hours, whichever comes first (~5 hr per day average if played every day). They claim 20k hours on the bulb, but I only cared about what they personally cover :)
Correction: Eco2 is ~40% dimmer than seen here. I forgot I was using the max mode in this video, which I rarely use. My other video shows it in Eco1, which is 20% dimmer than seen here... only it's a night-time video.

This is pretty sweet!
Should cost £800 for me off of amazon, looking for a cheaper version though! Looks like it works well.
