this was the last years when cartoons on syndicated television were at least entertaining. fox box, jetix and abc saturday morning were a lifeline for kids without cable tv or the internet to download.

After the passing of Fox Kids, I had no choice but to watch the Fox Box when I was 10. But nonetheless, Fox Box was alright. It have some decent shows on their channel (Stargate: Infinity, BTTF reruns, Pirate Islands, Cramp Twins). The only 4Kids produce show I like on the Fox Box is TMNT (2003). I was very disappointed that the Fox Box added some lame shows since Sept 2003 and later changed it's name to 4Kids TV (which is worse).

We shouldn't blame them for slips ups based on a few animes. The only animes they truly screwed up on were One Piece and perhaps Yugioh. All others had only a few edits and were bearable.

Besides, they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

RIP Fox Kids and Fox Box : Home to Power Ranger, Sonic X, Winx club, Batman,Beetleborgs. Fox, ABC,and NBC, CW lost their kid viewer after they dropped their saturday morning/Weekday afternnon blocks.

fox kids was the best. i remember shows like transformers, spiderman, power rangers, and digimon. oh man those were the days. then foxbox came along, and that was okay. but then 4kids just killed it....

@ConsoleZ I agree. Fox Kids, Kids WB and the old ABC Kids lineup (back in the mid-early 90s) were way better than 4KidsTV/CW4Kids/Toonzai and today's ABC Kids lineup. I don't know why they had to remove the weekday morning/weekday afternoon lineup. I wish they bring it back.

I remember Christmas 2004. I was going to watch some Kirby on FoxBox. Than I noticed that its name changed to 4Kids TV, and it looked 100% more girlier and kiddier. Also, that wretched Winx Club came on. From then on, I miss Fox Box. (lol)

I bet that this was the intro to the FoxBox network before they changed the name to 4Kids TV and I didn't get a chance to see its premiere in Sept. 2003 due to the fact that I moved to Atlanta.
