  • this is absolute amazing song

  • when my close friends would die i would listen to this album

  • @gaad7079 I did the same thing when my husband died, he loved this album

  • Their song "Hard Living" should have been on the Hair Of The Dog album instead of Love Hurts. Also another great song by Nazareth is "Down Home Girl"

  • Other songs to listen to by Nazareth include:No Mean City,Steamroller,Goin' Loco,Sleepwalker,Woke Up This Morning,Turn On Your Receiver,This Month's Messiah,Gone Dead Train,Thinkin' Man's Nightmare,When The Lights Come Down,The Toast,No Mean Monster,Lifeboat,Watch Your Step,Telegram,Vancouver Shake Down,This Flight Tonight,Holiday,Pop The Silo

  • I just listened to this entire album on iMesh, except the song Love Hurts. The album is still a mind blowing experience. Also I listened to one of their other albums:Big Dogz. It should have been the follow-up to Hair Of The Dog.

  • fivehundred watts of power in my livingroom windows open cranking her up ' fuck the neighbours i own this block ''

  • Im listening to this for my Dad. Its his favorite song nd wanted to hear it. Haha.

  • The best song to me when I hear Nazareth

  • I first heard this song back in '75 living in a boarding school. It was absolutely haunting and addictive. I rediscover it again around 78 - 79 and couldn't stop listening to it every night when I went to bed. It was a real trip. I just came upon it again and man, did it bring back wonderful memories.

  • So it rotates back and forth between the band and the play.

  • I have started writing a theatrical adaptation to this albumn. I want a large slowly turning circular stage that has a band playing this music, and the other part of the circle with actors in a play playing the roll of Jesus and others who were part of his life. Scenes such as the garden of Gethsemene where he is betrayed by Judas. Would anyone dig that? R & R and theatre combined! Think Alice Cooper, Welcome to my Nightmare.

  • @soflatriker - I think we're living the same life...)

  • Love this album as well, I am 50 and refuse to grow up. I remember listening to this when I was 13. Will never give it up.

  • @soflatriker I'm 44, and this has always been one of my favorite albums.

  • If I still had an old school record player I would own two albums. One would be 2112 by Rush and the other is this record. I destroyed my dad's copy of this album listening to it.

  • @MrWraith84

I got them both, and a lot more. Perfect.

  • @MrStreet1969 I agree,it is the best. But my favorite album by them is Rampant because it was the first album that I owned by Nazareth. I now have iMesh and have downloaded 10 Nazareth albums to my computer, most of which are live albums. Awesome band!

  • Thus far, 0 people have Judas'd anyone.

  • Mult, mult prea frumos!

  • this is one of the great song I listened to in 1975. My best friend and I was listening to this the night he jumped. man I miss him still....

  • played the drums to this whole album when I was a kid, later in a cover band I insisted we do Beggars Day, Miss Misery and at least Hair of the Dog etc.

  • One of my many Favs of Nazareth

  • this song brings me way away from it all

  • greatest ever rock album of all time.......

  • @MrOctagon20...Every fricken song is amazing. I wore this LP out.

  • @BuggsBonnie still play this album to this day and will till the day i die, never tire of this album, and many others by nazareth.

  • @MrOctagon20 hell yeah

  • Greatest band of all time bar none man. I bow to this band they are my saviors not literally but that is how much I respect them. They have shaped me more than any other thing in my life.

  • Did anybody else notice the CD emblem in the corner? Just asking.

  • One of the greatest bands of their time. In my opinion.

  • fuck all fo you

  • @Fishie210 WHY DON'T YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF DUDE YOU'LL GET MORE PUSSY!!!!!

  • @Fishie210 You spelled "Of" wrong dipshit

  • Lewis Tapes only has one video but it's a good one!

  • I was an 11 y/o when I discovered Rock music and Nazareth was one of the first bands that I was introduced to...Damn! I was one lucky kid....

  • Quality Recording.

  • This is music from my ''LOST'' year.I turned 22 in March 1974.In early February 1974 I took LSD for the one and only time in my life.Of course I took too much,3 double hits of white blotter.I spent an entire year after that smoking hashish everyday.Only music like this kept me sane.I thought that this album was the best album that I had ever heard.

  • @BBINGHAM032352 I still think this album is the best I've ever heard.

  • I got this Album not knowing what to expect... I had never heard of the band. This album single handedly changed my views on music. This song is a masterpeice. Gave me great memories.

  • one of my naz favourites

  • A cosmic piece. A rare jewel. Very rare. I was 7 years old when my brother got this album for a day and recorded it on his real to real. I listened to it pretty much every night in the dark, through his headphones. Do I need to discribe what it did to me?

Well, it did pure magic and beyond. And I did not even speak English back then. I did not suffer in my life, had great parents, no drugs, etc. so this is what gave my little soul dimensions and depth. It is deep. Thanks, guys...!

  • @AttilaMesits Rock on, soul brother!

  • @AttilaMesits I had abusive parents, smoke a ton of pot, snorted coke, and drink an ocean of Jack Daniels, but this lp has given depth to my soul as well. Keep on Rock'n .. Keep the Faith!

  • @AttilaMesits Man, you're singing my song buddy. I too listen to the music late into the night, never do drugs, had great parents, the music was enough to get me my highs. Love it!

  • Great listen with your headphones on.

  • ALWAYS THAT SONG IS VERRY STRONG AND SIMPLE

  • one of the great epic mystical songs

  • Im going to see them playing tomorrow :D

  • @Ronni2605 how was it???

  • @BeyondNeptune it was Fucking amazing. Damn that dude can sing.

  • every once in a while a band comes along that has brillant sound and a message with such conviction. long live the greats and all who appreiciate it!!!

  • This album was killer. So incredibly underrated, these guys were brilliant.

  • Yes man , a piece of music like this one doesn't happen everyday...and that's a pity...Long Life Nazareth !!!
