  • that was very cool, i always love watching your work! :)

  • @japcloud Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy our little videos! This is the first of our video to reach 100,000 views which it did yesterday. This is just great! Got so more christmas stuff coming up in the next few weeks so thanks for watching and keep following!

  • @93DOL I highly doubt that Srry.

  • Old Slow Coach is one of my favourites wish she was still in thomas today, if Butch got to speak in series 15 there's hope yet

  • Is Old Slow Coach a coach with a troublesome truck's face on it or did they release it without me knowing?

  • @RailKing50 The coach is a accucraft W&L coach with a TT face on it. We are on a budget!! Thanks for watching!

  • @CFRailway Ok, I didnt know if they released old slow coach and snuck it by me lol, I'm still debating to get the bachmann or stay with my lionel thomas and james, i know a lot of people didnt like it but i really like the yellow track they released with the lionel ones

  • @RailKing50 Have you seen our Bachmann vs Lionel Video, That might help you. You should be able to still use the yellow Lionel track with the bachmann models. IMHO I think the bachmann are by far better but it is up to you, your trains not mine! Keep following!

  • @CFRailway ok the thoms has sentimental value, james we got off ebay. proably when i make my own outdoor layout I'll get the Bachmann version down the road. Great video and will do

  • @RailKing50 Great!

  • @RailKing50 That was the troublesome van's face

  • nice ! but yu shud now remake it with large scale james !!

  • @gottilover28 Yes, we should and maybe we will at some point but at the moment we are focusing on our summer special which we are going to start uploading over the next few week! • The BACHMANN G SCALE James is here.

  • @Stuingtion Yes we now have a Bachmann James however they were not released when we made this so we had to use the Lionel James. We are planning a few more remakes for this year as well as a very big Summer Special closely based on Thomas but with all the crew plus some extras! Thanks for watching and hope you keep following, don't forget to subscribe to see all the latest!!

    The Daltons! XD

  • @ShadowBorg1 Well Done! Not many people know who they are!

  • @CFRailway

Thanks ^w^, the small one's "Joe" (oldest, angriest, and smartest), the some-what-small-one is "William", the some-what-tall-one is "Jack" and the tall one's "Averell" (youngest, childish and stupidest)

Thier mother, Ma Dalton, treats them like children none of the less, but loves Averell more (for example, gives Averell seconds of her stew w/out giving any firsts to the rest of the brothers)

I have the 2nd and 3rd episodes of Lucky Luke, Im hoping to find the 1st episode.

  • wow really nice remake how did you do all the smoke effects, this is that model railway at Rothley on the GCR isn't it

    very good

  • @ShaurntheSheep We used smoke pellets for smoke effects, they are designed to see if you have a leek in your chimney but they do the same job!! If you watch Pine Tree Junction videos, there latest 'Thomas look out' had smoke effects in it. The CFR supplied the pine tree junction team with the smoke effects for there video. Yes we are the garden railway at rothley station! Thanks for watching and keep following.

  • Did ya get the Large Scale James as well (from Bachmann)?

  • @Zorran202 At this moment in time no we haven't BUT we will have one before our big (And I mean very big) Thomas summer adventure. We filmed this before they became available so we had to make do with the Lionel James. Thank for watching and keep following....

  • 2:53 - 2:57 one truck for each of the engines

3:01 - 3:06 two trucks for each of the engines

  • @yan2001123 Well Spotted! Up to 2.57 was day one of filming after that was day 2. Not got the best of memories!

  • This was a good episode and you made a very great remake of it! The layout and effects were awesome!!!! Great job man, great job!!!!!

  • Brilliant! :D

  • I wish they could make faces for HO Bachmann Thomas

  • The bigger the models, the easier to film. This turned out great, I love the smoke effects when the tar tanker "caught fire".

  • well done

  • Oh maybe one day you'll get a garden railway. I will have to come some time to film this very nice model railway.

  • That's BRILLIANT! I like the way you used Bachmann large-scale Thomas models to film the remake, just like the original TV series did using G-scale models. I would like to see more of your remakes!

  • @Yanamation

Glad you liked it! We had 3 days of fun filming and editing it! I could be wrong but didn't they use HO model in the TV series? More remakes to come, I hope to start filming a christmas special in the next few week ready to be uploaded mid December. Watch this space.

  • @CFRailway Yus yus plzzz!!! I would luv to c more remake!

The original TV series did used large-scale model, Gauge-1! It would be kool if you make Thomas and Percy's face with different expressions, like James, all u could do is made them out of clay!

  • @CFRailway No, it was definately G-scale, moving eye mechanisms can't fit inside HO/00 scale trains, except with Bachmann.

  • @CFRailway It is confusing as to what they actually used. I know I was confused! With a little help from SiF, the models used on the TV Series were Gauge 1. They are basically G-Scale, but a little smaller. In fact, they use the same gauge of track, kind of like HO and OO. As for the narrow gauge engines, I'm not sure. They might be HO/OO, or even S gauge. I'll look into that.

  • @TheRyanCarMan They were possibly O gauge.

  • @crazyracer12 Nope. Gauge 1 is a bit bigger than O gauge.

  • @TheRyanCarMan No no, I mean the Narrow Gauge engines were possibly O gauge, should've made myself clearer. :P

  • @crazyracer12 Oh, my apologies. However, I think O Gauge would be too big for the narrow gauge engines. I say that because the main models were mistaken for O Gauge, so the difference for Gauge 1 and O would be pretty small.

  • @CFRailway they were gauge 1 models in the show.

  • @CFRailway they used the G gauge models to film the series, and when they did the in cab view, thew built 1.5 feet tall models for the views

  • It looks like you have a very big garden railway?

  • @penninefilms

Yes, I only wish it was in my garden! We are located at the north end of rothley station car park on the Great Central Railway, open to the public every Saturday, Sunday and Bank hoilday all year round. The CFR is ran by a very small group of people that enjoy the hobby and enjoy putting on a great free show running on donations.

  • james looks so outdated, Bachmann needs to update him.

  • @DoctorOblivian

James was made by lionel, bachmann's James from the Thomas Range doesn't come out til the end of the year.

  • this is great your film it's great.

  • Will you make more remakes?

  • @trainmaster1227

Yes, There are a few in the planning stages.

    Watch this space.

  • I believe Bachmann should make an HO scale Old Slow Coach. Who's with me!?

  • @TheInsanebrain247

I'm not to bothered about HO, I want a g scale one ;)

  • my grand son and i thought this was brilliant, you lot are wasting time running the cfr you should be making more good videos like this.

  • Thanks for the great comments guys.....

  • WHOA! Marvellous remake! That railway (yours?) is beautiful, the filming was brilliantly done and the added details, like the smoke, made this remake very enjoyable. 5/5, well done. This has been featured too. (:

    -Robert

  • this is fantastic! I love it!

'Coach was creative, and so were the usage of James' faces and the smoke on the fuel wagon.. TFC's only scene freaked me out tho.. freaky man that TFC O_o

    Nice job anyway :)

  • woah man awesome set up

  • nice Lokos ...

    you can chance the face?

  • @wwwfrankwww Well you can for the Lionel James. Dunno about the large scale Thomas and Percy though.

  • @Damocles178 Your right about James

Bachmann Havn't made any changeable faces for Thomas and Percy.....yet.....
