  • I've loved Humble Pie since I was about 10, and that's when they were just comin' out! A nice original sound.

  • ひたすら黒く、熱く・・スティーヴ・マリオットはロック神の化身、必殺”SMOKIN”より抜群ブギ"ホット・アンド・ナスティー"~クレムソンのギターもイカス!

  • man they just dont make em like that anymore

  • OMG, just checkec out joe walsh, james gang, and now these guys, int hat order. grew up loving these guys, just now rediscovering how great the are.

  • Do you get the message...

  • love the sound of this, the 70's were gr8 for music and had it's own unique sound

  • who dat? why it's Steve Marriot

  • WHAT A LP....CAME OUT JUST BEFORE I LEFT HIGH SCHOOL>!. ROCKS...ALICE COOPER...CREAMM!>. KIDDS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY MISSED!>>>

Great post great sound thanks alot!

  • You're welcome!

  • Hot n Nasty. Fucking eh.... Little Stevie kick your ass....best ever.

  • My Freshman year in college...heard this song the first time I smoked weed...I saw GOD in Steve Marriot's voice and Greg Ridley's bass!

  • Roll it baby, burn it, pass it - those are some good lyrics!!!

  • Steve Marriot was an amazing composer/lyricist!

  • I beg to differ with sttroy. It was Stephen Stills. Sorry dude

  • still very hot after all these years.. real energy, they were excellent the time I saw them.. SM rip.. what a huge loss for the music industry,,who knows what music he would have affected..

  • yeah can see how a 12 yr old would love this band i wa 17 when they formed and liked them then too now not so much but all music is good so rock on

  • mercy mercy mercy me!

  • Who dat said mercy? Mercy, mercy, me. Rock on.

  • Memories...wow, too much...I love it.

  • if your feet aint movin ur dead

  • whatta set of pipes he had!

  • easy to see who inspired Black Crowes

  • Steve Marriott is the best British rock artist outside Beatles and Bowie, I think. Saw H. Pie twice - stunning. Great voice, sad loss.

  • Considered by Page apparantly for Zeppelin before he got Plant, that would have been worth a listen. The Small Faces needed 2 people to replace Steve when they formed the Faces ,that`s how fuckin good he is.

  • Do you get the Message?

  • My sister had to keep buying 8 track cassettes of Smokin. Talk about bring back good old times.....She got to party with Steve Marriott in Detroit before she passed. She would be lovin all the Small Faces and Pie on you tube.

  • 12 yrs old kifd u got it together need 100 more like you your in the wrong decade rock on

  • @Georgie2500, NO, it means you know what REAL music should sound like. N\EVER CHANGE, and don't get into most of the crap modern music has to offer.

  • "Ha-ha ho- yeh.."

'Love the 2/4 hh chops and cowbell ride that drummer Shirley always employed. Get that house rocki'n. -and I told ya so.

  • I took Greg's place in this band for a few years, it was a kick ass group

  • I bought this album (still have it) when it just came out. Still love it.

  • HEY JOE DON"T FORGET TO SHAKE IT WHILE YOU SNIFFIN ON THAT THING

  • What other kind of lyrics would you expect from a song that's called "Hot "N" Nasty"? :-)

  • ps for all you young performers out there... that's steve marriott workin that hammond and the piano parts

  • Actually on this song it is Stephen Stills of Crosby,Stills and Nash fame on the Hammond and backing vocals. Marriot is probably playing the piano on this one though.

  • HoT 'n' NaStY: is my favorite song in the album!..the Bass Guitar riffs is SmOkiN'! x0)

  • Timeless Timeless Timeless...and to think it's Auto Tuner decade....YIKES!!!!......PEACE

  • do you get the message ?

    .

    ;-)))

    apparently so.

  • ストーンズも吹っ飛ぶ全く(´~`)もってΣd(゚∀゚d)イカス!ナンバー、ハンブル・パイ"Hot'n Nasty"~粘りつくマリオットの声がえも言えぬ!

  • o, ya hot n nasty! bring it on boys! they don't make it like this anymore:(

    MamaJaz

  • the ability to enjoy truly good music is because you are educated in the ways of the true earth not the influence of poorly produced shit of today i appolize to no one for my thoughts enjoy today for tommorrow will be soon upon you

  • You can see these guys were a huge influence on the Black Crowes and even AC/DC.

  • im 12 and love this band!!!! am i weird!?!?!?

  • You are one very intelligent kid who really knows good music!

  • @rickyon actualy you would be suprised how many kids today listen to this music i mean im fifteen and i can think of at least ten other people my age who listen to this music

  • There is hope yet for the youth of today!

  • @Georgie2500

Nah, Georgie. You just acquired taste in good music at a young age. I bought this album in high school, and I'm 55. Sounds as good as ever. ☺☻

  • to the 12 Y.O. who's jamming on these guys: Of course you're normal and not weird. Every one knows that KIDS LOVE PIE!, Maybe even with a little CREAM(see crossroads), You've probably heard that one before, It's major popular, and been re recorded by other artists too, so it's all over the air waves.

  • @Georgie2500 I'm 20 and my favorite music is stuff from the 1960's to the 1990's, so no, it's not weird at all.

  • @Georgie2500 you're not weird, you just have great taste in music.

  • @Georgie2500 I was like that too, now I'm 15. When I was 12 I used to play in a band that plays these kind of music, here in brasil. I know how you feel, it's too weird.. really weird. When you live in brasil, it's even more weird, because here a kid who likes guns n roses or metallica it's considered weird, so imagine a kid who likes humble pie and proressive rock, hahahaha. Keep on this, dude. Rock never dies.

  • @Georgie2500 Hm well if you're 12 and ask if you're weird because you like it, makes me really wonder if you're really 12. Other than that it doesn't make you weird.

  • @Georgie2500 No, you're fucking COOL! Keep up the good work, son.

  • @Georgie2500 You're right on schedule, Georgie!!!!

  • @Georgie2500 you'll grow up to be a cool hipster kid ;) is all good.

  • @Georgie2500 Same with me!

  • These guys are fuckin' awesome! They will rock on forever. I can imagine the reaction when the young kids who are hip to "our" old rock start listening to Pie for the first time. These guys are mechanics instrumentally and vocally. Newbies will get hooked...

  • Good bass player . . people don't play like that anymore.

  • the greatest rock and roll band in the land

  • ...and to think I once OWNED this album! I used to listen to this album over and over, but have no idea what happened to it. Must have gotten lost somewhere in my past life. Bummer.

  • @vinteriors

    Vinyl or 8 track? (I had both!☺ )

  • "I've got my hand in a plow" - Ouch!

  • I think is some of the best blues(rock) ever recorded...:)

  • Comment removed
