When a huge company like Toshiba decides to throw too much money behind a single advertising agency, they end up producing a commercial like this to win awards. This commercial does nothing to promote Toshiba products, and given how televisions are sold, fails to distinguish Toshiba from its competitors.

Considering the hype from Toshiba re 200 cameras etc, the end result is singularly uninspired. More significantly, from a marketing communications standpoint it communicates nothing. Fire the agency.
It doesn't need to communicate the finer points of certain products, it's about building brand association with amazing new technology. The point is to make people associate "Toshiba" with new and innovating things. It doesn't need to be about their products to make that association, simply having a cool filming technique is enough.
@editedbyfailure Who cares? It's an awesome ad. I don't particularly support Toshiba, but surely they should get credit for creating such a cool advert. And with the music, it's perfect.
