Instead of proving anything to each other, I would ask you all to think on something. Is there a God? What would be the benefit vs. penalty of knowing or not knowing Him? Pray. If God is real, and you are sincere, He says He will show Himself to you. But it is serious. It will change your life. He is a friend to the friendless. He is the One who will never leave you or betray you. He is the only one who will never stop loving you. And you can never be good enough for Him.

This woman is silly, everyone knows humans are too stubborn to listen. You can't make somebody believe in god and change their ways by basically telling them they're being asses to the god they don't believe in.. I believe in god and I mind my own business about a persons religion, if somebody bashes on god I will definitely stand up for god. If you were born in Iran it's all but certain you would be a practicing Muslim right now. If you were born in Japan it would be Buda(sp)who you would be worshiping! You're correct that so many refuse to hear the truth and that is their own choice. We are only responsible to warn them and if they continue in their iniquity, that is their own choice. Think about it - what do you have to live for if you are just going to die in the end (like we all will) - you can't take it with you. I know that this is foolishness to the unbeliever, but once you become a believer, then you know that we will live forever in eternity. actually, my history books state that many of the founding fathers were deists who despised Christianity. In fact, if you google the "Treaty of Tripoli"; it says directly that America is not "in any sense" founded on the Christian religion and that America is a secular nation. It was passed unanimously through Congress and signed without any protest or outcry. My history books are backed up with facts, how about yours?

We are not perfect Christians and we cannot be because only God is perfect. We are his children and we know when we need to go to him and ask him to forgive us for things we may say or do. But then he already forgave us before we came to him. If I am to die because I will not adore any other God but my own, then so be it. It hurts to hear and watch and view all this hate against me because I am a Christian. It's disheartening but I do have him inside so I should go there more than before.

On the other hand you have lets say a person who like we hear so much about these days that killed his wife and drown his children. He goes to jail and while there suddenly 'finds God'. He repents and prays for the rest of his life and when he goes up to Heaven and God looks through His list he say. 'You killed your wife and kids!!! You sick fuck!! Oh but what's this, you prayed and repented for it everyday shortly there after...I think I can make some room for you." Makes little sense to me...
to phreak89. if you truely are repentent you are forgiven but no where does it say in the bible you are not punished. (repenting means turning your back on your evil ways, its no quite as easy as it might sound)
Why not? If he is such a just and loving God as so many seem to believe, how could he send a person into eternal damnation when he/she has let a good life and helped others and basically followed the commandments and the only flaw is the person doesn't actually believe in his existence? Sounds like a pretty harsh punishment for a small flaw.
its not like that at all. by believing in god you are learning to trust his choices and to learn from him to be a good person and the ones that believe in god and are selfish,greedy etc. will have a harsher punishment than the ones who did not believe in him. and god is remorceful and forgiving but if u do not believe in him why should he give you something you do not believe in?

Instead of proving anything to each other, I would ask you all to think on something. Is there a God? What would be the benefit vs. penalty of knowing or not knowing Him? Pray. If God is real, and you are sincere, He says He will show Himself to you. But it is serious. It will change your life. He is a friend to the friendless. He is the One who will never leave you or betray you. He is the only one who will never stop loving you. And you can never be good enough for Him.

He did create perfect people--the people decided to sin. His heart is for all to love and know Him, that is why He sent His Son to die for us. Even though we hated Him and killed Him God still loves us and offers forgiveness to all who choose Him. That is a love that is very difficult for many to understand. Think about it - what do you have to live for if you are just going to die in the end (like we all will) - you can't take it with you. I know that this is foolishness to the unbeliever, but once you become a believer, then you know that we will live forever in eternity. actually, my history books state that many of the founding fathers were deists who despised Christianity. In fact, if you google the "Treaty of Tripoli"; it says directly that America is not "in any sense" founded on the Christian religion and that America is a secular nation. We are not perfect Christians and we cannot be because only God is perfect. We are his children and we know when we need to go to him and ask him to forgive us for things we may say or do. But then he already forgave us before we came to him. If I am to die because I will not adore any other God but my own, then so be it. It hurts to hear and watch and view all this hate against me because I am a Christian. It's disheartening but I do have him inside so I should go there more than before.

YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK. you speak and assert your god as if it was SO obvious that he or she is the obvious choice. half of the people here give off the appearance of being dimwitted adults who were intimidated into belief as children with stories of "hell" the other half of you try to use logic to support viewpoints on god. is anyone aware of how much the bible has changed itself over time? or how contradictory it is to itself? none of you "experts" has any knowledge of this god. atheism ftw

hahahha, hell exists in my inmagination and in my imagination only. i critisize the people on this video for imposing beliefs, and i get this lovely fellow to talk to. the bible? the book that retells hundreds of fictional events. evolution? never happened i guess. but you'll stand tall and state that a 40 day flood occured just because its in a stupid book. im watching too much sports? you are ignorant of any scientific views obviously, so piss off. pray for me if you want, im laughing at you.

hahaha your last point made me laugh. put your faith in a false book if you wish. to do so is to turn your back on scientific and geological evidence, which i cannot and will not do. have faith in the bible... and ill place a bet on science. we'll see where we are in 40 years. and if i am to go to hell, then i would probably enjoy it far more than heaven. knowing how contradictory the bible is, hell's probably a equivalent of some tropical paridise with all my fellow atheist friends. peace

....science has been proven wrong many times... by other science, never by religion. you call me foolish for putting faith in something in evolution, while your alternative is based soley off the readings in a book that even contradicts itself. im not a religion hater, the second a religion finds evidence to support its teachings or to dissprove the current standards of evolution and what not, i will gladly consider.

actually, the bible explicitly states that life came from sand that was blown by god into man and that women came from a man's ribcage. It also talks about the four pillars of the earth and the four corners of the earth and a mountain that can see the edges of the world.
but go on, talk about some small petty detail that vaguely implies the bible might have possibly gotten something remotely similar to scientific fact

Kay, Thank you for your boldness and telling us all what we need to hear. The gospel is not always what people want to hear, but it is the inspired Word of God. With that being said we cannot take it out of context and only apply what we want it to say. Your message was clear and spoke to my heart. I too need to apply the truths of God's HOLY Word to my life in all that I do and say even it is not popular in the world we live. Thanks for your ministry and following your heart.

I would much rather live this life in peace, believing in the Almighty God, than live in the emptiness that accompanies disbelief. If I'm wrong, when I die, nothing happens. If unbelievers die and THEY'RE WRONG, they'll burn in hell for eternity. Where will you spend eternity?

Ehh I'm not really going to make a big deal about atheists.. to me they are the same as my Buddhist friends or Hindu friends, it doesn't make a difference to me really. And whatever we can do, we can never stop nationalism, people will always fight, whether they are the same or they are completely different from each other.

You can't hate on religious people. Be thankful that we got to live in a time where people are waking up from a "thought hiatus". Large religions are losing steam like never before in history, and unless they change their hateful ways, there is nothing to be done for them. Not everyone can be an independent thinker. Also, how might the entire nation be able to do this when we are melting pot of so many different religions and some that don't even subscribe to any religion at all? And since every person with their different beliefs has a different God and sometimes many Gods, how do you know which one is right? How do you know any of them are right? How are these religions any different from the pagan religions of ancient civilizations besides having a single God instead of many?

How many Christians out there believe that a person can still be a good, hard working, productive member of society, that cares for all people and the earth, but not believe in God? And would this person, in your mind, be able to go to heaven being that good person throughout his/her whole life and still does not believe in God at any point in his/her life from birth to death?

Ok so let me get this straight. A good person who happens to be atheist does. He goes up to the gates of Heaven and God's sitting there looking through is list. He's like "Oh let's see here. you had a good job, you had a nice family and raised fine children, you did a lot of charity work for the poor...oh that's great...oh but what's this here, you never believed in me...well...sorry to say that one thing I can't get over sorry, down to Hell for you!" On the other hand you have lets say a person who like we hear so much about these days that killed his wife and drown his children. He goes to jail and while there suddenly 'finds God'. He repents and prays for the rest of his life and when he goes up to Heaven and God looks through His list he say. 'You killed your wife and kids!!! You sick fuck!! Oh but what's this, you prayed and repented for it everyday shortly there after...I think I can make some room for you." Makes little sense to me...

to phreak89. if you truely are repentent you are forgiven but no where does it say in the bible you are not punished. (repenting means turning your back on your evil ways, its no quite as easy as it might sound)

Why not? If he is such a just and loving God as so many seem to believe, how could he send a person into eternal damnation when he/she has let a good life and helped others and basically followed the commandments and the only flaw is the person doesn't actually believe in his existence? Sounds like a pretty harsh punishment for a small flaw.

its not like that at all. by believing in god you are learning to trust his choices and to learn from him to be a good person and the ones that believe in god and are selfish,greedy etc. will have a harsher punishment than the ones who did not believe in him. and god is remorceful and forgiving but if u do not believe in him why should he give you something you do not believe in?
