  • we got 2 56's with cummins power what an experiance driving these things haha

  • I wanna see this Euclid in a tug of war with gangesex's 1965 Wabco LW-35. That would be awesome!

  • That would be cruel! The Wabco has 6 more cylinders!

  • Ya I suppose, but it would be cool(if nothing broke). Does the Wabco have steeper gearing than the Euc? Im guessing yes, but am not sure.

  • I have no idea, both have planetary hubs, I can probably get the gearing for the Euc, but I'm not sure if I have the specs on the Wabco. Keep in mind, the Wabco is a 35 ton cap. truck, while the old Euc is only an 18 tonner.

  • Ya that was poor judgement on my part. No biggy on the gearing though. Thanks.

  • I love this truck! It fucking great! Id love to drive this daily...ya know if i always had half a parking lot to park in..lol.

  • A little more info about that Euc: Model 91FD, R-18. 18 ton capacity, 6-71 GM power, 227hp @ 2100 rpm, max torque 606lb. at 1400rpm. Fuller 5spd. tranny. 12' 11" wheelbase, 10'5" tall, turning circle 51ft. It will climb a 45% grade with a load in 1st gear.

  • Hey thanks! I love info like this! Only 606lbs? Chevy, Dodge, and Ford Heavy Dutys have more torque. How can the Euclid haul that kinda weight? Is it in the gearing?

  • 19.66:1 gear reduction in the rear end, thanks to planetary hubs. Top speed in 5th is only 27mph. But trust me, in a truck like that, it feels like 50mph!

  • ahaha thats what I thought. I bet it feels fast in a huge as truck like that!

  • Yeah, they let me try it, with the worn out front end it swerves all over the road! But it was still an awesome experience, and I've wanted a truck like that ever since. The ultimate chick magnet...uhhhh...maybe not!

  • I want a garage big enough for something like that! And a bumper sticker that would say " Am I conpensating for thing? Yep, A world of mediocrity"...haha

  • They made a 10 ton model, too. The R-10. Really neat little truck with a 4-71, it would fit in your driveway almost.

  • Kinda makes you ask yourself why a 3/4 ton truck needs 600 plus lbs feet of torque

  • ya, but I like that they do!

  • I liked the dodges better when they got 23+ us mpg and had 440 lb/ft

  • I love the classic first gen dodges with the 12 valve cummins! power and efficiency, plus easy to work on.

  • man thats a sound i miss everyday since a 671 (238) SCREAMIN JIMMY DETROIT :)

  • Did you watch my other Euclid videos?

  • great cab ride, please more in the cab footage please?

  • I don't have much in cab footage, but did you check out my in-cab log loader video?

  • A sweet sound indeed!

  • I'm going to post the loudest 12-71 on the claim later tonight!

  • yeah yeah yeah!

  • Thanks for sharing this! That 671 sounds like a symphony to me.

  • Glad someone else appreciates Jimmies! I'm going to post more videos of this truck, one from inside, and one of it hauling some logs. Keep watching!

  • dude I'm all about the jimmies. Look up Wabco and look what Ive got. But youve got some badass footage. you gotta post Bigger, Better, Louder, MORE!

  • I could post a hundred videos easily, but with dial-up, it could take a hundred years! I already watched your Wabco, neat! My friend has one, but it has Cummins power:(

  • Thats so cool. I can't wait to see more of what you got. This is some gem stuff you got here.
