The maker of this video has eaten crab. Crab fisherman put their lives on the line to get those crabs. What is this pussy not going out there and catching his own crabs?
The maker of this video benefits from coal. People put their lives on the line to get coal out of the earth. Why don't you go dig the coal out yourself?
He actually ran ads in Georgia calling Sen. Max Cleland (Marine Vet. who lost 3 limbs in Nam) a traitor and a coward. This weasel Chambliss then stated that, "I had to go on the offensive. I would have appeared to look like a complete lightweight."
He didn't mention that he received a deferment from the US Military for, in his own words, "a QB knee."
Since the lost, Max Cleland has to receive aggressive counseling due that campaign. Look it up!
@ryviuz For Roosevelt: My point stands on him, he knew what was coming by doing what he was doing. Just ask anyone that was from that time, like him, they knew they were pushing for war with the Japs. He could have avioded the situation altogather but he didn't.
@ryviuz For Wilson: Yes for the most part the Lusitnaia incident is what brought us into ww1 but the Germans were not the aggressors in that situation, Wilson actually was. He had war materials snuck onto that ship to be taken back to Britain(Wilson started doing this to civilians liners because German U-Boats were sinking U.S. merchant vessels carrying war materials and this seemed a way to trick them but it obviously didn’t work). Wilson, not the germans, was the first to be aggressive
& before some idiot liberal blogger runs to me and presumes I'm a war hawk I would just like to make it clear I'm not at all. So to give alittle background onmyself, I personally don't want us in Iraq,Afghanstan I'm 50/50 on it because on one side I hate how many troops were losing and fear it might be unwinnable like it was for the Soviets but at the same time I fear it would be a big morale win for Al Quida, making them stronger them ever, if we'd leave. Also I don't think we need more wars
The "chickenhawk" thing is ill-logical in a sense. First off saying anyone who advocates a war but hasnt seen war is automatically a "chicken hawk" is saying Abraham Lincoln,Woodrew Wilson & Fraklin D. Roosevelt were all "chickenhawks" being none of them ever saw war personally but helped advocate it.Secondly it's ill-logical to think everyone who supports a war should go fight it. If that was the case "the fight"wouldnt last cause their would be no one here to keep backing it to keep it going.
look dude ,,, Abraham Lincoln,Woodrow Wilson & Franklin D. Roosevelt did not start any war,,, it is war that come to them ,,, true story
if a person advocate an aggressive war without a justification and did not show any sign of involvement outside talking than he/she is called Chickenhawk. for ex: Dubya
@ryviuz They didn't start any war? what are you talking about? Abarham Lincoln could have the left the confederetes alone but he didn't(remember the fort sumter incident?), woodrew wilson didn't have to get involved in the european conflict, he could have sucked to the german and just stayed out and Franklin D. Roosevelt could have did the same with the Japanese(didn't they attack cause we refused giving them scrap metal and oil? Franklin knew what he was getting into in that situation).
for lincoln: a rebellion should have been considered automatic war.
for wilson: yeah he could stay out, and he DID stayed out of war,, until Lusitania incident.
for roosevelt: you are correct he refused sell oil to Jap,, but that because the Jap is in war and already fucked Chinese for years, Roosevelt tried to stop WAR between Chinese and Jap by stopping trade in war material to the agresor state (Jap)
@ryviuz For Lincoln: It was more of a succession then a rebellion and it didn't start under him, it started under Buchanan which did nothing about the situation as states starting succeeding from the union, couldn't Lincoln have done the same exact thing and just left alone?
@ryviuz Furthermore your definition of a "chicken hawk" is incorrect
. The offical definition is: Chicken hawk - is a political epithet used in the United States to criticize a politician, bureaucrat, or commentator who strongly supports a war or other military action, yet who actively avoided military service when of age.
@TimmyHaag I 100% agree with you. We have a huge shortage of soilders and we are spread thin, by drafting we can solve that problem and the numerous security issues were working on in different places. I plan on doing my part eventually whether I'm drafted or not.
@acetong1990 However there is a difference between being a reluctant supporter of war and a fanatically ardent supporter (of recruitment age and health etc)who never the less finds reasons for not actually doing any of the fighting ones self. You make a good point (the first one)but there is still a lot of contemptible hypocrisy out there.
@acetong1990 the rest of us find it ironic though that while the dem caucus is made up of veterans, the gop is made up of people who actively avoided service. the veterans seem to be more prudent about sending young men to die in foreign wars. lincoln, roosevelt, and wilson didnt avoid a draft like cheney, bush, delay, mcconnell, and other republicans had. thats the difference.
@acetong1990 Warmongers Lincoln/Wilson/Roosevelt were all chicken-hawks. I wish we could just send the neo-cons to each war they advocate, then their criminal philosophy would end...
@acetong1990 Well for one thing, when America was attacked by Roosevelt he start the war as an excuse to build the price of stocks in his construction company.
@acetong1990 The big difference is that they never actively avoided wars when they were military age. Lincoln joined the military, but he was 37 by the time of the Mexican War and already in Congress, and he opposed that war. Franklin Roosevelt was of age when the Spanish-American War broke out, but just because cousin Theodore supposed it doesn't mean he did. He even said he hated war. Wilson was not the right age, either. That's the difference. None of these man actively avoided war.
Bring back the draft! A real partiot would have no problem serving. Mandatory military service should be passed into law. It would build a stronger country. Think I'm wrong? Go ask the WW2 generation, the greatest generation of the 20th century!

I am an Iraq Veteran and I guess you could call me a liberal seeing how I voted for Obama. It's amazing how quickly you people (chicken hawks) go from "Supporting the Troops" to "FUCK ALL THOSE TREASONOUS VETERANS WHO HAVE SWITCHED TO THE LEFT-SIDE!!! I say that flat-out!"
Get off the internet and get busy trying to call into your echo chamber of choice on the AM radio.
Neocons only support troops when it comes to sending people to war, but not when it comes to paying for pensions, salary raises, and taking care of our fine veterans when they come back. They make me sick.
Are you that STUPID? It is sad that you have to be told what to think by fools like Matthew Continetti! If I had my way all of Continetti's suporters would be on the front lines. You would see that can shoot their mouth but they would not shoot a M-16 for what they think they believe.
Yeah, we are unpatriotic even though YOU and your ilk are the chickenhawks who have OTHERS fight your wars for you. Retard. How dare you call veterans treasonous just based on their political beliefs. Go fuck yourself.
The biggest mouths have the smallest hearts, as they say in my country.
It'd figure that the biggest warmongers and their cheerleaders never would fight the battles they are so eager for themselves. (And the small few of them who did always tend to be rich kids with important daddies, which ensures they face minimal danger if they DO actually go.)
Sacrifice? That's what the poor people are for. Of course some of these are dumb hicks who vote for these chickenhawks, and they get what they voted
Honestly, I don't know why that caller was so upset with Contenneti or whatever the fuck his name is.
He's a war mongering republican, I don't expect these pussies to get anything done right anyway. They've fucked up the economy, they couldn't run the war the way it was suppose to be run, they warn of big government when it GREW under their own watch so I'm not up for putting a gun in the hands of this little faggot. He might break a nail : )
19770326-- Good answer! but I think that executing some of these cowards would be better. I am an Iraq war vet, and I am not a supporter of the war. I hate bastards like Continetti, just that smirk on his face makes me want to knock it off with a baseball bat, then proceed to kicking in whats left of his face. He sits at home loving life, while my mates are in the ground. Discusting display! An all out coward!
I did serve in both Afghanistan and Iraq and I completely support the war. I was wounded twice and still support the war. What I don't support is you liberal cowards. These scumbags attacked us first. If Bush hadn't caved to the liberal scum in the press and let us kick ass the way we were allowed to at the beginning many of us would have never been casualities. You liberals and Bush's worring about his press are the real reason for the casualities. You all sicken me!
Was it the fault of the press that our many mistakes and stupid decisions after the fall of Baghdad created the insurgency? Was it the fault of the press that the Iraqi Army was disbanded instead of helping us restore order in Iraq like they wanted to for us? Was it the fault of the press that U.S. troops didn't have the armor protection needed? Was it the fault of the press that Al Qaeda filled the void that resulted from Bush's failure to have a post invasion plan? I served in Iraq also OK?
deschoj your one of many dumb ass idiot nincumfuckinpoops that will believe anything your told or hear. Your dumb ass got shot and wounded for nothing you fucking asshole. When it comes out that 911 was an inside job are you still gonna be so proud that you fought for your country you shit brain dummy. War makes no sense in this day and age Period. It's just for the poor and dumb like you to make money for the rich. Grow a brain you sheep. You fought to make Chenney richer. You fuckin pawn loser
My ass you served. You dumbass, Iraq didn't attack us. Al-Qaeda was nowhere close to Iraq UNTIL we invaded it, making it a haven for Al-Qaeda to terrorize there, not to mention most of the fighting there is NOT in fact Al-Qaeda but sectarian violence between Sunni and Shiite. You should know that stupid chickenhawk. But instead you pretend you served like a dumbass.
I agree. I'm an Army vet, didn't see combat, served 7 years, but I don't support this war. But I trully hate individuals that claim this war is just and they themselves are not in. Got into many heated arguments with them, All I said to them was to strike me, to strike a cripple, and Ill leave them worse than me...and that's a guarantee.
Exactly. God this motherfucker annoys me. I spent 2 years in Baghdad as a civilian. No combat but certainly was in some danger traveling around Iraq. While I see both sides to the Iraq war argument, my point is that it was STAGGERING how Bush appointees in Baghdad (SOME) showed cowardince beyond belief, refusing to ever ever leave the green zone to do their job and demanding that everyine risk THEIR lives on theor behalf. "Chickenhawk" is exactly the right term. Cowards. Period
Plus, I'm making a fortune off this war. If I get killed I won't be able to spend it. That's why it's better for the people who don't have as much money as me to go and fight the war because they have less to live for.
If the Yankees invite him to join, he will do it in a heartbeat. Not so if the Army invites him. Its an easy choice between getting payed millions vs getting blown up. This guy clearly has a lot of growing up to do. He thinks wars is like a yankee game. Sit on the couch, grab a beer and keep count of body bags. He thinks US is winning because we have killed more people. SOmebody hang his dick to the ceiling.
"Something more than mere support for a war without fighting in it is required to earn the "chicken hawk" label. Chicken-hawkism is the belief that advocating a war from afar is a sign of personal courage and strength, and that opposing a war from afar is a sign of personal cowardice and weakness. A "chicken hawk" is someone who not merely advocates a war, but believes that their advocacy is proof of the courage which those who will actually fight the war in combat require."
If you want World PEACE, then please Read and Recommend "THE ART OF PEACE" by Morehei Ueshiba, (founder of Aikido), to Everyone you Know and Love. (So Be It.)
My brother is going out to fight soon. I will personally slap the living shit out of neocons and chickenhawks if you put one in front of me SLAP! Picture it, a thunderous clap and my smug assholiness disposition. Love me?
you're an idiot. i too would slap you and you're stupid, blackwater idiot brother. you are what is wrong with the world, i bet you have a small dick and thats why you're an angry prick. no one cares if you're stupid shit brother is in the air force, it proves he's a mindless drone with no real purpose in life.
According to what my brother said, the vast most of the soldiers are joining Blackwater and similar PMC corporations once they leave the military. At the rate it's happening the military will be effectively be privatized very soon and all of the soldiers will be making big bucks. If they keep it up these PMC corporations will be able to subsume the political sphere as well with there economic clout and then we will have Starship Troopers. :) Yay!
"Yeah, and then war will be a private business, and even more wars like Vietnam and Iraq will be started simply for profit.
Do you not see the problem with that?"
Well if we nationalize the stock of these corporation and give some to each American citizen so that all can profit off it I don't really see a problem with that. Especially if we transition to automated warfare. It would be like the Roman Empire all over again only with us as the patricians. :)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Partially, though my brother is actually joining Blackwater.
Now as for Rome, the Roman empire fell apart due to internal problems. People often say that empires always fail, but this is because civilizations eventually fail. The Romans, were able to maintain their rule for several centuries without serious downturns or instabilities. So imperialism is not inherently unstable in itself.
Now in America's case we are really asserting hegemonic stability not actual imperialism anyway.
And the most common internal reason empires and civilizations fall is because the people in charge don't know their limits. Hitler, Napoleon, the Soviets, the British, etc. etc. etc.
As for your other point, another reason is because they all think "But we're different from those other guys."
True, it's not actual imperialism. That's the problem. It's neo-imperialism. That's not going in, planting the flag, and claiming "We are superior to you," but by control by other means, like economics or by going in and claiming "We are here to help."
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Well I don't see why that's a problem. Neoimperialism seems ideal in some respects. You can have your cake and eat it too. You are still able retain the positive aspects of hegemonic stability without having actual imperialism. Best of both worlds.
Yeah, it's ideal for the neo-imperialists reaping the benefits. It's not so ideal for the people in the other countries getting screwed over and who don't get the cake or get to eat it.
All right let me put it to you like this. Modern neo-imperialism is not so much imperial in the classical sense as it is pro-capitalist. It prevents marxists from taking over in other countries and fucking up the free market.
Now there are some idiots who insist that equality of outcome is more important than property rights. There's a quiz on the web that measures your lifestyle. The quiz says if everyone lived like Americans we'd need to expand on to six earths.I intend to keep my lifestyle.
The so-called "free-market" has brought untold misery to nations around the world for generations.
Ask the people of Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Colombia, virtually all of South America and the Middle East.
You are scum.
I'd kill without a second thought ... the same way the death squads in El Salvador and Guatemala killed without a second thought ... dumped in an unmarked ditch like the scum you are.
The evidence that Neoliberal "free-market" policy has brought nothing but misery to the developing world, is undeniable. Every Neoliberal program comes with strings attached: no unions allowed; sweetheart deals for foreign corporations doing business in a given country. These so-called development progams benefit those who already have money & no one else.
By the way, you are one ugly rubber-lipped son of a bitch. Keep your picture off of YouTube. People are puking at the sight of you.
Well if the misery death and destruction are reigned down on bad guys in the first place fine. Remember neo-imperialism wouldn't be necessary if there weren't bad guys stirring up trouble to begin with. (countries producing terrorists with what they sell us and theiving marxists nationalizing our stuff)
Rome fell from internal decay not because of it's imperialism. It's empire lasted continuously for over 3 centuries. So the argument that empire leads to collapse automatically isn't grounded.
"How many of these war millionaires shouldered a rifle? How many of them dug a trench? How many of them knew what it meant to go hungry in a rat-infested dug-out? How many of them spent sleepless, frightened nights, ducking shells and shrapnel and machine gun bullets? How many of them parried a bayonet thrust of an enemy? How many of them were wounded or killed in battle?"
"It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation."

Way to go Matt keep up the good work! I am ashamed to see one American to disgrace or look down to to another American because he/she chooses to serve his country in another way other than through the Military.
You're right rrman, he is serving. Just so long as that "service" doesn't actually involve him being shot, having roadside bombs go off near him, or being in the tinest bit of danger whatsoever.
Bullshit...He has better things to do because he is a Rich White Boy Who was put through Columbia University. I served 6 Fucking Years in the Marine Corps and would punch Matt in the Face if I was ever to meet him. FUCKING CHICKENHAWKS!
Bittyrock, thank you for your service. Your 6 years of service in the Marine Corps (the hardest of the branches no less), means much more than Continetti's "service". He makes me sick. I can only hope we take care of our veterans as much as they do of us. These neocon asswipes are the first to send people to war but the last to want to fund military pay raises, updating GI bills without fighting it first, etc.
Bullshit...He has better things to do because he is a Rich White Boy Who was put through Columbia University. I served 6 Fucking Years in the Marine Corps and would punch Matt in the Face if I was ever to meet him. FUCKING CHICKENHAWKS!

Those patriots are fighting the CULTURE WAR, the most important WAR this country is fighting!
But I wouldn't expect you liberal assclowns to understand any that!
Progressive Secularism is the greatest threat facing America (greater than Al Quaeda and OPEC combined) and it must be defeated!
... FUCK ALL THOSE TREASONOUS VETERANS WHO HAVE SWITCHED TO THE LEFT-SIDE!!! I say that flat-out!

What's up chicken hawk ?

They make me sick.
rakrobn 2 years ago
Are you that STUPID? It is sad that you have to be told what to think by fools like Matthew Continetti! If I had my way all of Continetti's suporters would be on the front lines. You would see that can shoot their mouth but they would not shoot a M-16 for what they think they believe.
BaRrYF350 2 years ago

You all sicken me!
deschoj 2 years ago
Was it the fault of the press that our many mistakes and stupid decisions after the fall of Baghdad created the insurgency? Was it the fault of the press that the Iraqi Army was disbanded instead of helping us restore order in Iraq like they wanted to for us? Was it the fault of the press that U.S. troops didn't have the armor protection needed? Was it the fault of the press that Al Qaeda filled the void that resulted from Bush's failure to have a post invasion plan? I served in Iraq also OK?

Cowards. Period

If the Yankees invite him to join, he will do it in a heartbeat. Not so if the Army invites him. Its an easy choice between getting payed millions vs getting blown up.

"no one cares if you're stupid shit brother is in the air force, it proves he's a mindless drone with no real purpose in life."

Well, in that case he's not a coward, he's extremely naive. You the Bush admin gives a damn about your brother? He's just part of their meal ticket.
Though maybe he's not too naive, if he's joining that criminal war profiteering organization, Blackwater.
Scotty7617 3 years ago
"he's extremely naive. You the Bush admin gives a damn about your brother? He's just part of their meal ticket."
LOL no your naive. With the kind of money he's going to be making in Blackwater he's more like a business partner with Bush and Co.
"Though maybe he's not too naive, if he's joining that criminal war profiteering organization, Blackwater."
Duh anyone with a brain is joining Blackwater these days.
JohananRaatz 3 years ago
Yeah, Bush and Co, those greedy war profiteers making a fortune off the bodies, limbs, and PTSD of US troops and Iraqi civilians.
Scotty7617 3 years ago
"Yeah, Bush and Co, those greedy war profiteers"
According to what my brother said, the vast most of the soldiers are joining Blackwater and similar PMC corporations once they leave the military. At the rate it's happening the military will be effectively be privatized very soon and all of the soldiers will be making big bucks. If they keep it up these PMC corporations will be able to subsume the political sphere as well with there economic clout and then we will have Starship Troopers. :) Yay!
JohananRaatz 3 years ago
Yeah, and then war will be a private business, and even more wars like Vietnam and Iraq will be started simply for profit.
Do you not see the problem with that?
Scotty7617 3 years ago
"Yeah, and then war will be a private business, and even more wars like Vietnam and Iraq will be started simply for profit.
Do you not see the problem with that?"
Well if we nationalize the stock of these corporation and give some to each American citizen so that all can profit off it I don't really see a problem with that. Especially if we transition to automated warfare. It would be like the Roman Empire all over again only with us as the patricians. :)
JohananRaatz 3 years ago
Would have responded before, but I didn't see that comment.
Anwyay, I really hope you're joking. Do you honestly not see a problem with profiting from misery, death, and destruction?
Yeah, we'd be just like Rome. Why don't you look at what happened to that empire?
Scotty7617 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Partially, though my brother is actually joining Blackwater.
JohananRaatz 2 years ago
And the most common internal reason empires and civilizations fall is because the people in charge don't know their limits. Hitler, Napoleon, the Soviets, the British, etc. etc. etc.
As for your other point, another reason is because they all think "But we're different from those other guys."
Scotty7617 2 years ago 3
True, it's not actual imperialism. That's the problem. It's neo-imperialism. That's not going in, planting the flag, and claiming "We are superior to you," but by control by other means, like economics or by going in and claiming "We are here to help."
Scotty7617 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Well I don't see why that's a problem. Neoimperialism seems ideal in some respects. You can have your cake and eat it too. You are still able retain the positive aspects of hegemonic stability without having actual imperialism. Best of both worlds.
JohananRaatz 2 years ago
Again, I'm wondering if you're being serious.
Yeah, it's ideal for the neo-imperialists reaping the benefits. It's not so ideal for the people in the other countries getting screwed over and who don't get the cake or get to eat it.
Scotty7617 2 years ago 2
All right let me put it to you like this. Modern neo-imperialism is not so much imperial in the classical sense as it is pro-capitalist. It prevents marxists from taking over in other countries and fucking up the free market.
Now there are some idiots who insist that equality of outcome is more important than property rights. There's a quiz on the web that measures your lifestyle. The quiz says if everyone lived like Americans we'd need to expand on to six earths.I intend to keep my lifestyle.
JohananRaatz 2 years ago
The free market?
You scumbags never quit, do you?
The so-called "free-market" has brought untold misery to nations around the world for generations.
Ask the people of Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Colombia, virtually all of South America and the Middle East.
You are scum.
I'd kill without a second thought ... the same way the death squads in El Salvador and Guatemala killed without a second thought ... dumped in an unmarked ditch like the scum you are.
bapyou 2 years ago 2
Blah blah you Marxist douchebags never stop do you?
JohananRaatz 2 years ago
The evidence that Neoliberal "free-market" policy has brought nothing but misery to the developing world, is undeniable. Every Neoliberal program comes with strings attached: no unions allowed; sweetheart deals for foreign corporations doing business in a given country. These so-called development progams benefit those who already have money & no one else.
By the way, you are one ugly rubber-lipped son of a bitch. Keep your picture off of YouTube. People are puking at the sight of you.

ninjanerd8 2 years ago
Well if the misery death and destruction are reigned down on bad guys in the first place fine. Remember neo-imperialism wouldn't be necessary if there weren't bad guys stirring up trouble to begin with. (countries producing terrorists with what they sell us and theiving marxists nationalizing our stuff)
Rome fell from internal decay not because of it's imperialism. It's empire lasted continuously for over 3 centuries. So the argument that empire leads to collapse automatically isn't grounded.
