So then a new version of the flu comes along and your body doesn't have the recipe to combat that virus. The reason you have to get a flu shot every year is that after you get the flu, your antibodies know how to combat the virus. So then a new version of the flu comes along and your body doesn't have the recipe to combat that virus. Every year at the start of flu season, you get vaccinated for the version of flu that's going to start. This is basic biology. Look into the human body defines system and you'll get my point. YOU WOULD KNOW ALL OF THIS IF YOU'D ACTUALLY PASSED 8th GRADE SCIENCE
