ok idk what do you need to know but there is something called Chinese version and there is something called made in china Chinese witch is fake but made in china its just the same nokia but made in china from the manufacture in china there is no diffrence

If I' not mistaking, USA (That is including NY) uses 3G.

The rest of the world uses Dual mode, UMTS and GSM

You bet, My 1st week I had an issue with my video taking it becomes laggy after 5 secs also when I transfer music files and I refresh the list it takes about 2hrs to refresh. I fixed it by formating my hard drive and also the phonememory now the phone is great! Battery life is still an issue last only day but i'm running alot of apps plus btooth and wlan. So far it has not crashed on me the 2.8 in screen is sweet not to mention the 5mp and dvd-qual videos, GPS and 8GIG HD!! Hightly recommended!

how was your slider? I heard it's sorta wobbly.

Mine has a tiny bit of wobble to the right if I have the slider up showing the numpad if the slider is downward showing the multimedia keys it's rock solid. I did heard about the wobbly sliders for the 8gigs but i'm happy mine wasn't that bad.
