how long do i have to zone away 3 screens on the giruvegan crystal just for the zodiac shield/brave suit treasure chest to appear....... :( cuz its really annoying going back and forth like a moron or a brain dead horse who doesn't know how to run correctly..

@SuperLoneman If you don't see the chest at the 1st time, just zone 3 screen away (Great Crystal). I do that and I have my ZE with diamond armlet. I'm spending 2 hours in Barheim without getting ZE. Refer map at gamefaqsdotcom though.

i try to get the best things in the game, but it's like the game is forbidding me! i tried getting scathe motes in cerobi steppe, but the chest wasn't there! I wanted to get zodiac spear in necrol of nabudis, but all those chests weren't there!

i tried for so long to get the zodiac escutcheon from the great crystal but I couldn't find it.

My question is if you use a diamond armlet would that keep you from getting the shield indefinitely

And if it doesn't can you put up a video showing how to get this elusive shield

then is it true that you can never get the suit again

The brave suit without diamond armlet is a one time chest. So yes you can't get it anymore. You can always get the chest again from the first one with the Diamond Armlet. That one always spawn at 25%

2handed weapons are the strongest in the end there for, I find no need for a Zodiac Escutcheon, bair;y even use it. And everyone wants to be strong ;D

Ya their is a brave suit in the Great Crystal, I got it instead because I already had the Zodiac Escutcheon (strongest shield) from The Barheim Passage - West Annex which required a Daimond Armlet (16 tries for me), 2% chance... Anyway the brave suit is better cuz shield have to go with 1 handed weaponds and I find that 1 hand weapons are boring and weaker to use

If the chest is not there, just soft reset. If you never got the brave suit chest soft reset will reset the probability of the chest to be there.

Of course you can get Brave Suit in the Mines. What I meant was a chest in Great Crystal where you can get one or the other Brave Suit/Z. Eschutcheon.

The most annoying monsters here are the bat things and the etem they bunch up on you and then start to use lots of stop,doom,and death spells and why did the creates of this game have to make all the good stuff hard as hell to get.

The only place to get Brave Suit is in Henne Mines (2 possibilities) or in Great Crystal.

Barheim is the Zodiac Escutcheon/ X-Potion. The other chest is Knot of Rust / Sweep.

Its guaranteed either Iga or Koga blade 50/50 without the diamond armlet.

If you wear the diamond armlet its guarateed knot of rust.

ok thanks. I doubt I'll get the z spear in the Mines. When I pass I check to see if the chest is there and if so I try, so it will be more like pure luck if I get it.

ah yep, ok. i also saw a vid which said you can get it out of a chest in cerobri steppe. you're alot further than me - i haven't got 10 espers yet or killed behemoth king but you have wyrmhero blade too!! good job. thanks for the info.

Yes cerobi Steppe at 10% with DA. But Henne Mines ribbon chest is the easiest in the game, unless you take away the guaranteed Pharos chest.

Hah! Screw that progress i now have all 13. Zodiac is some hidden one i guess because there are 12 horoscopes, and 12 sets of ??? in the menu (press square when selecting a character).

Yes I have Order of Ambrosia on this file. But it would be hard to prove it right since I never showed it lol. I have 3 files saved from this game, 1 before Omega, 1 before Yiazmat and 1 before Vayne Solidor. Everything on this file is done bazaar wise. Grand Helm, Darkblade, G. Armour etc. Thanks again.
