I'm very proud very dog could make it through the long haul flight because it's really stressful. That's why I want to import one from Japan because it takes shorter time on the flight and I don't trust Chinese breeder. If you could kindly help me ask Marroppy that would be so so great !!

Sadly, there are many nasty breeders in Japan too, and lots of dogs and cats are suffering in a condition of overbreeding. I really do not recommend to import a puppy from Japan because there is no guarantee that you get a healthy puppy."

I've been looking for a miniature long haired dachshund ever since I came back but still no good sign. I'm just wondering if you know there's a way where I can import one from japan.
All I know is that vaccine requirements are different, depending on the age of puppy, and there is usually a time line for when the vaccination must be given prior to travel. It sounds very difficult to get a very young puppy which needs many vaccines should be given in a part. If you want an adult dog, it is a different story.

kawaii!!!! I have a long haired red Miniature Dachshund Abbey, she's almost 4. I want an another one so bad chocolate and cream :) Your chocolate and tan is so adorable "Love" is a great name for her :D I'm Japanese but I live in LA ;D She looks very healthy and happy!

そうですね。「大脱走」とか「エデンの東」とかＤＶＤは持っています。ところがシーンばかり目がいっています。マロンママも資格を持っているアマチュア無線が趣味ですが、海外の人と英語などで交信するのですが、「誰か交信しませんか。」と言って、アメリカやオーストラリアの方が呼んできて、びっくりして「I can't speak English.」などと言おうものなら「おまえは今英語で話したではないか。」（すみません英訳できません。）と言って付き合わされます。あ、あれ、ママさんとご婦人だけの会話ではないのですね。

青い服きたおばさまとの会話多分「これはダックスフンドのパピー？」「そう、ロングヘアーのチョコタン」みたいなことを言っておられると思いますが、速くて判らない部分が多いです。やっぱり相当頭がさびついていますね。もっとまじめに勉強しておけば良かったです。

これはですね、女性が「これ、小さなダックスフンドみたいね！」と言い、横の男性が「僕達もうちに2匹いるんだよ」と言って、私が「私ももう一匹家にいるんですよ」と言っている会話です。^^ 言葉を聞き取る力はただ単に「慣れ」です。すでに内容を理解されているお好きな洋画などを何度も観ていると早い会話も聞こえてきますよ！是非お試しを！^^

仕事が終わると毎日、見に行っていました。ペットショップは家から５分の所にありますから。
クリスマスの時、お金持ちそうな女の子の姉妹がトッティになる子ともう１匹クリーム色の子を抱いて「両方とも欲しいね。」と言っているのを聞いて、もうすぐにでも決めないとと思いました。ショップの人はあまりに私が良く来るので、どちらにするのか興味を持ってみていたそうです。

最初差し上げた時、眩しそうな目をしましたね。それにしてもキッズらは半分位英語で話しているんですね。日本語で話しているのは例えば、ママさんの家に帰省した時なんかのためかな？

そうですね。祖父母と会話もできないのでは困りますので。基本は自宅ではなるべく日本語を使うようにさせていますが、最近は英語の方がラクなのか、なかなか上手くいきません。（汗）

アメリカでは家族がどのようにしてパピーを探すのでしょうか。アーカンソーってあらいぐまラスカルの故郷で、アメリカでもミシシッピ川の流域の方ですね。平日でも一家でお出迎えというのもアメリカらしいですね。
