you have to make the sounds before you use them in the emx.

after that you transfer all to the emx, and then you cfan arrange it. the esx dont have a really vocoder, it is a effekt on the fx-section.

but: you must be good in making music for this.

As well as they should. His brilliant performances have sold more gear than all of Korgs commercials put together. If another company had snagged him, so suddenly all his new vids/tracks was done on, say Roland-gear, it would have been devastating to the Korg lines of gear that he's been using so far.

Not that relevant atm though since Roland dosent do more about their Grooveboxes, which is a pity since it was them that made the term "Groovebox" stand out.

@groovizm They did! Why do you think he got the SD card -version of the ESX and EMX, when he already had the old Smart Media ones? They kitted him with loads of new gear against him making presets for the new ones, and all his new vids are actually promo-vids for Korg. He's making money by the truckload on this now.

Too bad Korg pissed on the electric fence with the ESX-SD by not updating the pathetic memory. Like just let it run straight off the SD card. The sky would be the limit!

For example, If we can get a hold of a good sample library to work from, can we go around the MX all together and get the SX? The SX is 50 dollars more expensive everywhere I go? Why? Cause red makes it go faster?

@xenocore01 They're not really the same machine. The SX is a sampler where the MX is a synth. So the SX plays back sound, the MX produces it. I'd say get both ;)

@ofanite sx and mx both use digital waveforms and with mx i think you can't personalize osc 2 detune or ring for instance, just waveforms to which you apply filters same as esx. same engine, just one is melody and one is rhythm.
