  • heyy you don't go to that place on the freaking game!!!

  • Say, did you hear that Shigeru Miyamoto said the other day that they're at work on a new Zelda for Wii? Hmm, I wonder when we get to see it!

  • 2 new zelda's, this is confirmed in an interview, one for DS and one for Wii

  • @PaulGale

This is the future speaking to a 3 year old Youtube comment.

The legend of Zelda for the Wii is called The legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword and the graphics are inspired by oil-painting. The first trailer and demo will be showcased at E3 2010 and a different version with slightly refined graphics will be showcased at E3 2011.

No more spoilers, you'll just have to wait.

The future bids you farewell and please tell miyamoto not to go too limited on the Limited Edition box.

  • @PaulGale

Well, we now know, cant believe im the only person to view this video in 3 years!

  • @JamieDaCosta Haha true!

  • @PaulGale

Oh man, how ive avoided ALL spoilers, most news and all other stuff for Skyward Sword AND ive somehow managed to make myself wait till Christmas to play it (I said to my girlfriend that for a present that is what I want above anything else, the limited edition with the Gold Wii Motion Plus)

    Only 10 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JamieDaCosta Oh man...really!? That had to have been reeeeeally hard! I wish your sanity to stay in tact for the next ten days, bud. :)

  • @PaulGale Haha yeah, its been such a killer waiting for it but I know it will be worth it and on Christmas Eve ill feel like im 5 years old again :D

After we open the presents in the morning and I get the game and start playing it I will literally have to be DRAGGED off of the chair for dinner and then Christmas dinner will never have been eaten so quickly and desert will have to wait!

  • @JamieDaCosta Well I certainly applaud you on your dedication to make your first gameplay session of Skyward Sword be a super memorable one. I think you're going to love it. I think it's a fantastic game.

  • @PaulGale Im just such a major fan of Zelda that no matter what happens I know ill love it and I seriously cannot wait, I love them all

I have even recently been playing Zelda II on the 3DS and I remember playing it as a kid and struggling BIG time but now im older, wiser and just generally more skilled ive played it and absolutely LOVED it

I take back any derogatory words I may have said about it in the past!

  • nice vid=). TP is an excellent game but in the beta version would be still better...but...doesn´t matter XD

PS:aaah!!! at the final part link was going to transform into a wolf.and i wanted to see how he meet midna in the beta version

  • Yeah, there always are moments in early promotional videos that look cool but ultimately change. It'd be pretty fun to see how the game once looked like, beginning to end.

  • y me too ... ! fu nintendo : /

  • They can't put "everything" in the game, but I still think that Twilight Princess turned out amazing.

  • Wow, this was the Zelda I thought we were going to get.

The one we got was fine, but Zelda can do better than what we got. Zelda has way more potential than what we got.

  • I was very pleased with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but would like to see how a complete, ground up experience on Wii would look like.

  • Yup, you're right. From the ground up on Wii is the Zelda I wanted.

I think TP was pressured by Wii in a way.

  • Perhaps at this year's E3, Nintendo will have a slick new Zelda trailer. Man...that would be terrific.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, in the back of the new Nintendo Power magazine, there's a pretty big hint for next month's issue. I'm willing to bet that E3 is going be great for Nintendo.

  • Wow, this should have been in the final game. The only bothersome thing here for me is the HUGE hit lag, so I'm glad they toned that down in time for it's release. The music was awesome.

  • Nintendo's sword hitting was meant to have a bit of a slowed down effect, to illustrate the difficulty it takes to hack a sword through a solid object. They wanted it to have a little more weight and realism. In the end though, they did quicken it up a bit.

  • Damn, the music that plays from0:32 is awesome! Should have stayed in the final game as the battle theme.

  • Yeah, things always get cut in the final version of games. It would have been nice to have this music in there, but it was still a very fine game.

  • Wow, this is the first time that I'm seeing this footage, which is surprising. Yeah they definitely made a lot of changes to the final build. I think I actually prefer the purple smoke that's reminiscent of Windwaker.

The game was pretty epic, but Majora's Mask still remains my favorite since I found it the most difficult on my first play through.

  • Yeah, Twilight Princess is indeed quite a fine Zelda game. I think it's really cool that you're a Majora's Mask fan, though. A lot of people missed out on that one.

  • Hey, this song is so great! *0*

    Where can i download it?

Sorry for mah bad english x_x

  • The music here is great indeed, but I'm not sure where you can get it. It might be on a Zelda sounstrack cd. Also, no worries about your English. I understood you just fine.

  • I watched this video again.

Makes me want this, and all the other axed content & scenes that were left out of the final Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

  • Why spam?

  • Cool.

  • I never knew he can neal down and he does'nt

spin like that in the game for gamecube

  • Yeah, some things definitely changed from this Zelda trailer to TP's final build.

  • I think MM is the best and the hardest game. I also like WW. I'm really dissepointed that many scens in this trailer wasn't in the game, that sucked..But i think TP was a good game.

  • I'm glad that you like Majora's Mask, because there are people out there that dismiss the game. And yeah, both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are great additions to the Zelda universe.

  • The game woulda been betta with thiz scene though

  • A forest with more to explore would have been cooler, but the game was still outstanding in my opinion.

  • Yeah

No offence to you but I don' realy like the Muzic in tha game

    Sept fo here

  • No offense taken; I didn't work on the game. (But it would have been awesome to do so).

  • yeah

    True

  • check out my video if you like beta twilight princess.

  • What's your favorite Zelda game?

  • my favorite zelda game is ocarina of time since its the hardest.

  • Yeah, my favorite is still Ocarina of Time, as well. It's actually my favorite game of all time, period.

  • i have noticed that they didnt use the music in the game, would of been great though

  • Yeah, some things didn't make it, but the game still did have a great soundtrack in my opinion.

  • it's just too bad that they cut that scene

  • now that Zelda TP has been out for over a month on Wii in the U.S., its easy to notice all the changes. in every forest area (Ordon, Faron, Sacred Grove), there are absolutely ZERO Skeletons or Bone-Dogs to fight. only those weird creaters that rotate their heads in the SG, and normal enemies you find all over Hyrule.

The game was changed big-time, for better or worse.

  • Overall I'm still very pleased with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I think it's one of the best games ever made really. A more open-ended forest would have been great, but things still turned out awesome (though different like you said). Well, here's to the next Zelda on Wii.

  • It would've been awesome to have a darker, more deadly gloomier Lost Woods (Sacred Grove) with different foes like that. As well as the Faron Woods before you reach the LW/SG.

  • Nice clip, I was really looking forward to an open forest in the game but it seems to have been omitted in the final version unless someone can point out it out for me

  • Though the Ordon forest is not completely open-ended (that would have been utterly fantastic), it is pretty big and is quite beautiful.

  • Maybe itz still there (I doubt it)

We juzz havnt looked hard enuf.

  • id never saw the skullkid before only thos floating monsters

  • This game for the wii will be awesome!

  • This game is the best!

  • Hey, is this music from the game? The music is awesome.

  • This game looks soo sweet, does any1 know the actual release date in the UK!!?? pleaase :D:D

  • It does look sweet; I totally agree with you. But as for a release date...I don't know yet. Perhaps in a couple hours I'll have that info when Nintendo's conference is done! But even if I don't, be sure to check out the web for some awesome Wii news.

  • DAMN IT! ME WANT GAME NOW!

*turns into the hulk and heads to nintendo place*

  • Well, check out the internet on August 23rd (today) for some huge news from Nintendo. I don't know if a new video of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be shown, but we will see a bunch of new Wii stuff. :)

  • Where though? I can't really find sites with any nintendo confrences.

  • I hope they bring the SkullKids from Ocarina/Majora back. That'd be luff. =D!

  • You never know...anything's possible. That would be cool though, and I'd really like to see Makar from Wind Waker have a role of some sort in this game too. That character is just awesome in my opinion.

  • Yup. He /was/ awesome. Let's hope he's back in Phantom Hour Glass, since I think this is more OoT/MM timeperiod. And that thing with the trombone lookes suspiciously like a SkullKid... -shiftyeyes- Yay. XD

  • I'd be happy if Makar shows up in Phantom Hourglass. And yeah, it's true that Twilight Princess' time-frame is closer to OoT than WW, but who knows, maybe Nintendo could make Makar travel back in time or something like that to warn Link. Heh, probably not, but I can wish. Skullkid is probably a good possibility though.

  • I've been playing Zelda since I was 4 !

There's no doubt that this game will be truly outstanding...

How do you get into E3 anyways ?

  • Wow, that's some really early gaming; I'm happy to hear it! I first played this game at E3 2005 on GameCube and then again last month on Nintendo Wii...totally amazing. I go to E3 through 1up.com.

  • Dang, I played when I was 5, you win by 1 year!

  • how sweet does this game look

  • I just played more of it at E3 and I love it. You'll be very pleased when it comes out.

  • They BETTER put the music that's plaing in the final game. It sounds awesome!

Role on E3 2006 and playable Wolf Link! ^_^

  • Well, now we only have to wait 3 more days until Nintendo's big Pre-E3 Show conference. I'm certain that we'll have a brand new Zelda: Twilight Princess trailer during that time. And playing as Wolf Link at E3 this year is going to be sweet. Have a good one!

  • I hadn't seen that yet. JUST SEVEN MORE MONTHS!!!

  • I'm glad you liked the video my friend. Zelda's going to rule!

  • How much longer until the E3?

  • 16 Days to E3! It starts on Wednesday, though the first conferences begin that Monday and continue on Tuesday.

  • thats new...

  • Well, this one isn't particularly new, but does have a decent chunk of unseen fight footage from most E3 videos out there. I do have other videos from Twilight Princess too; you've probably seen them by now, (not necessarily my own), but I just thought I'd tell you anyways.

  • >_> It has a name you know!Wind Waker...I cant wait till April!Do you know the exact date of when this game is going to be released Paul?

  • No one knows for sure but we might as well wait if nintendo is making us wait this friggen long, the game gotta be good.

  • Oh boy...I don't know how to break it to you, but it's not coming out in April. Before, I said that it would be coming out in April at the earliest, but that was a bit before Reggie from Nintendo of America made a new announcement. The game will officially be coming out this Fall. Some retailers are listing it as early September, but at the latest, it'll come out in November.

  • It's too bad that we have to wait so long for the game, but it will be absolutely incredible when it finally does arrive. It'll also be playable on the Nintendo Revolution. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

  • This game's graphics look great for GameCube I like it better than the caroon one.
