Fiat currency is just that-paper. The main problem with currencies by government decree is that governments ALWAYS promise that they will not expand currency. In the end, they ALWAYS do and inflation comes into play. There's nothing special about the dollar.

But even in all of these cases their is life on all of them so I'll be eating something other then Gold that for sure.
