Hi guys i have all the charts ifr jeppesen ones and airports ones , can anyone show me what the logbooks for maintainance and the pilots flight details look slike and the loghseet and weight sheets i think i know what the loghseet looks like is it a small paper that has info on it thats printed in the cockpit thankyou all you pilots please help me
Hey I saw your comment! :) And youre a pilot right? Anyway my dream is to become a pilot but I know its kinda a expensive education. But how many flighthours do you need to be able to fly for an airlinecompany? I live in Sweden so it might be diffrerent for where you live? :)
@Hockeyvalley to become a pilot you need to pass the different pilot licenses your country or region offers: JAA for Europe FAA for the US ICAO for worldwide and so on. Licenses are convertible so that means that you would be able to apply to any company after converting your license. To obtain your licenses you have to enroll in a modular(cheapest - longest) or integrated(fastest - very expensive) Or enroll into a cadet program(FREE) such as Cathay pacific - Air France(closed for now) and other
@Hockeyvalley You most likely have to gain experience before sitting behind the yoke of an airliner. So the path is long and you can get their by passing through: regional, charter, Instructor or bush pilot. Being a pilot is about passion and motivation, you do not get a super pay when you BEGIN, it's a myth but you get the best view in the world and have a great prospect of career evolution. I suggest you do some serious research to answer your questions... Make contacts with real pilots to !!!
@Hockeyvalley regional airlines minimum requirements are between 800 and 1500 hours Total time but you will most likely get an interview with 2000 or 3000 thousand hours and a couple of PIC( captain) time
@charlieechovictor really man? because here in brazil the regional airlines like Gol are contracting pilots with as little as 500 hs with no minimum requirements on specific aircraft type. I guess that's because very little people have money to become a pilot in here, given it's all much more expensive then it is in europe. One of the results of that are the flight delays, Air companies are strugling through because they don't have enough pilots! anyway have an amazing day, man and Godd luck!!!
@MercedesKawasaki in Europe you have 200hours and you just might be able to fly an A320 or even a 757 or just anything else considered as an airliner which is crazy considering that it is the common path !!! Not that I mean I would not accept a position on an electric jet. But I'd rather start on as a commuter in single or multi-engine piston then get into regional quickly and finally in the majors before I'm to old for seniority...
Anyways mate thanks and good luck to you to... ;-)
@solomonpilot767 I'm 14 and have always wanted to be a pilot of an comercial aircraft. I have flown (controlled) a Censa and had no problem adjusting heading, altitude, stabilisation, and use every aspect I can find on the plane and never looked up from the gauges. I was wondering how you went about getting your pilots licence how the pay is for that career, the schedule, and how satisfying of a job being a pilot is. Thanks!
