Halo was the game that made first person shooters. Most people would agree with me that without Halo most other FPS games wouldn't have been made like cod and battlefield. I can also play a game of halo without some kid using hacks to get all the guns or using one of garrys mod to win the game.

CS destroys Halo. CS had competitive gaming where players could win hundreds of thousands of dollars. It never made a Half-assed attempt at a shitty story line. It actually made realistic hitboxes. It didn't fuck around with "over-shields" invisibility buff's. Players won games on skill alone, not shitty random number generators and stupid perks. CS changed the genre because it took multiplayer gaming to a new level of skill-based play. Halo allowed nubs to play. Thats all it did.
