@Frankiesmarts This is common, we're all crammed on this tiny island and our cars have to go somewhere! You have loads of free land space. Not in major cities though...
Hi Vicky, no script or rehearsals just lots of video footage until it all happens. If you drive in rush hour it shouldn't take long to find this sort of situation
This is what I failed my test on, does my head in, i'm so rubbish at judging the width of the road, so I give way when the road is big enough for 2 cars, or carry on going when I think it is big enough and the oncoming car has to stop for me, which is bad :/
passed on my second try hehe, only failed first for 1 thing where i was crossing 2 mini roundabouts and failed to cancel my indicator on the second one so another driver thought i was going off the first turning and pulled out infront of me yikes!!! nailed it second try though eheh. Good luck to all that have yet to pass.
first time in england is hard. changing gears constantly without stalling, tiny small roads, tiny cars, roundabouts every wear and loads of people on the roads.
I did just over an hour of driving earlier, on my first lesson, and did starting and stopping, and driving and changing gears, and corners, and only stalled once. Is that good?
I know I agree cos I am taking my driving licence next month (Well booking it lol )
This should give me confidence to go out on the road and stay calm so this is very useful who ever thought of it , its amazing and it looks easy doesn't it : ) but i don't think i will find it easy but i am gonna pass !!
i've got like 45 hrs or more of driving lessons and my instructor has not told me yet to book for my driving test, should i just book a test by myself?
Yes, book it. I booked my lessons at the end of July, had a quick chat with the instructor and booked the test myself. I've got 3 hrs of lessons left and my test is on Monday.
Actually... That situation is not as bad as it looks. If you're a quick thinker... Things like that automatically come into consideration without thinking.
Still, for a learner driver there's a lot of information to take in there. I'm sure an examiner would be impressed if a test pupil handled all those different situations like the instructor did in the video :>
Drive ways and garages, that where you should park your cars. not on the road.
