this looks like it was from a movie. Wasn't it? god i hope so cause it looks like it would have kicked ass if it were a movie that the producers asked Wolfsheim to do s track for them. Please tell me that it is....or isn't.
@999Cinderwolf Thank you. You might like the band Celebrate the nun, My favorite song by them is "Will you be there". Also, Propaganda. I like the song " P Machinery". The song "Situations" by Cetu Javu is one of my favorites. An obscure band named 12 Drummers Drumming have a song called "We'll be the first ones" on youtube that is real good. I believe these are all German bands.
Geil, geiler, Peter Heppner. Ich liebe diesen Mann - wie von einem anderen Stern - diese Stimme jagt mir jedesmal eine Gänsehaut über den Rücken, unverwechselbar schön !
I dare to say that this is not the best song from Wolfsheim. At the beginning Peter's voice kind of dissappeared in the background. But I'm still a fan ;P

This song is really different from the others of theirs that I've listened to, but no matter which of their songs I listen to, I think I'm addicted to this band! I really need to get some of their CDs.
It's from a German movie "Liebe deine Nächste" from Detlef Buck who spon the band around some film scenes. Detlef Buck did also the video of Kein Zurück.
Also, about Goths being gay, and having emotional trauma of some kind... What about Peter Murphy of Bauhaus, Gary Numan these are two examples of amazing guys with way more sex-appeal then you could ever dream about...
:P YOU SUCKKKKKK !!!! Ok... What exactly is it that bothers you about "other" bands who stole from Kraftwerk ?? If you actually go and listen to a few Kraftwerk songs, you'll see that it doesn't take much for a band to sound a little like Kraftwerk...
And this phrase of yours: "If these guys didn't have a German accent and were fat Samoans wearing Hawaiian shirts and jeans you would not be listening." Then I might also just say: If you didn't masturbate while thinking of your cousin who's favourite band is BZN, you might actually be cool. And, if it wasn't for great INFLUNCIAL bands like Kraftwerk, we propably wouldn't have great bands like Leather Strip, NIN, Krupps etc today !!
What the FUCKKKK are you TRYING doing in a Wolfsheim thread anyway ?? I had a look at your profile, and you pretty much SUCK ! Rather go and listen to a Britney Spears song, who's lyrics you mught just relate too.
Kraftwerk wasn't synthpop, idiot. I've never said that Wolfsheim is "goth". You did. You seem to connect the wearing of a certain color of clothing with a social group - that's idiocy. I've never drawn a line between "Gothic Art" and "Gothic Music". You did. I'm simply telling you that you're being a bigot, not only to the "Gothic" community, but to the homosexual one as well.
I'm a composer. For a church, no less. Congratulations, you're an idiot. You assume that anyone who is NOT of your opinion is therefore one of those who you are bashing. That's called being stupid. You need to learn that pathetic commentary on how "all 'goths' are gays" is horrific bigotry, as you have stereotyped them as "people who wear black makeup and pretend they're vampires".
You cannot say that people who dress a certain way have certain sexual preferences. That's an incomprehensible "logical" leap that, in the long run, is easily proven false. But, to prove to you how stupid you sound, I'll give you this. -ALL GOTH BASHERS ARE GAY-. See? That makes about as much sense as you do. I hope I've gotten through to you, but prepubescent drug users, such as yourself, are rarely capable of coherent thought.
Has anyone ever told you to shut the fuck up? If not, then kindly shut the fuck up. All you've done is post your random rantings proclaiming that "gothic", which you've never actually described fully, is homosexual. Taste in art or music has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Please, shut up.
I know this isn't gothic music, but the video has gothic elements. That's why I presumed you were talking about the epitome meaning of the word. I don't care about other's preconceived notions.
And you may want to have yourself tested for Tourette.
So not only are you an utter moron, you can't even read either. I never said Evanescence is Gothic, I said it isn't. I plainly said music had nothing to do with being gothic. Even though there are bands that play "gothic metal" or "gothic rock", but that has nothing to do with gothic people.
You have as little understanding for the word Gothic as teenage girls who want to be different by listening to Evanescence have. You've clearly never even héard of Dark Romanticism.
And homosexuality isn't a lifestyle, why would it? Heterosexuality isn't a lifestyle either.
You've got no actual points - you've been rambling about how people who wear black and enjoy a genre of music have sexual orientation towards their own gender. You've said I fear both homosexuality and other - I fear neither. Truth to be told, I embrace both, and that's why I hold myself to be better than the trash that's arguing with me.
The only thing I've diagnosed is that you're a complete idiot, shouting whatever you think sounds good. I've never said there was anything wrong with "gays" and "goths" - I accept them as people and treat them no different. However, you've reduced everything not part of yourself to something else, something lesser. You're not the best out there - in point of fact, you're worse than most.
Idiot. No, he doesn't sound like any other Germa singing in English. No way of speaking is superior to any other. You keep making these stupid, broad generalizations. You're an idiot.
Xenophobes fear the other, the different, the thing that isn't them. There's nothing wrong with looking a certain way, or enjoying a type of music. You're a bigot and a bastard to say that there is. You constantly stereotype and generalize until all that's being said is that "this sucks because I say it does". That's bullshit. Grow up, kid. The world's not black and white.
One of the reasons people like Wolfsheim is the fact that the singer's voice is fucking amazing. They don't look like anything other than pale German men in dark clothes. So the fuck what? "goth" has nothing to do with any of this, though you seem intent on saying that both gays and goths are bad people. They aren't. They're just different - and fucking Xenophobes like you are why this world's going to hell.
I have to say, you're one of the bigger hypocrites I've met. You've got ideas, and an opinion. That's good. If you have a problem with the music, though, kindly shut the fuck up and don't listen to it. If you've got a problem with the way people dress, get over it. They can dress however they damn well please. If you've got a problem with how others interpret beauty, get over it. You are not the only individual with ideas.
Explain to me what you mean by PC moral relativism. While it's a catchy phrase, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is a completely true statement. Some hold that blood, proof of life, is true beauty. Others hold that large breats, shapely abs, and lots of make up is true beauty. I don't care what you think, but you have no right to tell someone that what they think is pretty isn't. It's not your place to tell someone what they should think, no matter how spoiled you are.
You're what, 12? I was thinking closer to 16, but either you're pre-pubescent or stupid. And how am I using a "defense mechanism for confrontation" when I've told you that you're outright wrong?
On top of all of this..Wolfsheim doesn't classify itself as "Goth". They call themselves "synthpop", which is an old term from the late 80's / early 90's. It's damn good music, and I won't stand for some ignorant kid telling me that somehow listening and enjoying music makes me a "poser". He seems to have this problem with over-generalizing things, because he's an ignorant biggot. What's fluff and facade is the fact that he thinks he understands everything.
Perhaps you should get over yourself, hypocrite. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"..if someone believes that the essence of the "darker" emotions of humans is pretty, then they have a right to think that that is pretty. If you think that all "goths" are all faggots, then I must believe you to be a homophobic biggot with nothing better to do than attempt to nurse his ego by putting others (and their tastes) down.
decieve the masses? What a dumb thing to say. The vast majority of the entire gothic scene is underground and the masses don't know squat about it. Yes, the gothic music is serious, and its quite beautiful. Apparently when you think gothic all you know is Marilyn manson, try listening to black tape for a blue girl
This movie is about the Salvation Army, which was founded 1865 in London's East End by William Booth. What you see in the clip are their contemporary uniforms as of 1998. The style 'army' displays is exactly the same all over the world. No matter whether Berlin, as in the movie, or at Fiji Island they will always dress the same.
Best way to describe "Love Thy neighbor" is by just watching it. It's pretty good, but the movie goes a bit far at poking fun at rape. Buck's done better flicks than this.
News flash, big chief: Those are not WWII-era police uniforms. And the joke of equating Germans with National Socialist politics hasn't been new since the 1940s. But I guess I'll just have to forgive your cultural oversights there, since it seems that you've never been far from a town whose classiest Italian restaurant is a Chuck E. Cheese.
its weird in the 80's this stuff would get played on UK TV, now its as if its not allowed, and only crap gets airtime... :-) is Wolfsheim on German TV?
