I loved Emus Broadcasting Company when i was 8 or 9! 1976 was the best year ever!! For years after that I thought that the BBC stood for British Broadcasting Company, this was all due to EBC, I was really disappointed when I found out it is actually British Broadcasting Corportation. Sounds like the local Council.

@IMPERIALSTORMTROOPER Nope. Man U were playing Inter Milan in the quarter final, when Rod Hull went on his roof to adjust his aerial, due to a poor reception. A real shame that he had to go that way. This clip is kind of ironic, in one sense, that doing this would, ultimately, cause his demise.

It doesn't show the amateur video recording of Emu pushing Rod Hull off the roof of his home whilst he was fixing his TV aerial. Seems there was the chance of Emu going on to do "Emu's World" on the beeb without Hull, with more pay and and a bigger budget . . .

i heard that rod hull ended up going mad like in the film magic he became schizophrenic and couldnt tell if he was rod hull or emu and when he went up to mend the tv aerial he got into a fight and the rest is as they say history
