  • Basically when you squat your knee should point in the same direction that your foot is pointing. If your knees buckles inward (probably only going to happen if you lifting heavy) then your form is incorrect and you are putting lots of torque on your knees. Everyone's body is different so there is no exact angle for standards. Which is why I believe you are more likely to injury yourself with a machine than free weights (with proper form).
