When getting the timing right.

Do you look at the little timline on top? Because you first slide it to the right, then are you trying to hit it on the corresponding part on the timeline that is a beat later? Hard to type out, but yeah.

virtual DJ doesn't work nearly as good as something like ableton. you need proper VSTs to slow down pitch efficiently without affecting sound quality to properly screw a track.

This is the proper way

In the new virtual dj you need to go to conFig on the top click it

go to (mappers)

in the bottom it would say (add new key) press it

go to the right and find (key:) type (Num1) add it as the key

next go to the bottom and click on the (action box) type (beat_juggle)once done press ok

Done☺☺ slow down the track and use 1 on your number lock pad EAsy

hey, this vid was really helpful. thanks for posting. I was messing around with the mapper to see if I could reprogram the spacebar to control the crossfader so that when I pressed spacebar the crossfader would jump from one deck to the other - but so far, no dice. Would you know how to do this correctly? Maybe I'm messing it up somehow...

@ama2343 the easiest way to do this is to set two buttons as the crossfader, one for 100%, which is the right side and the other for 0 %, which is the left.

since i also like to nudge left and right, i actually have five buttons for the cross fader in this order:

[ 0%]--[ -10%]-- [50%]-- [ +10%]-- [100%]

Y'all can also use the "P" button to play a track that your on and click play on the other track with the mouse. Just make sure what track your on. That's how I do it anyway. "C" can be used to cue up you track.

The guy that made this video is on Coke are something. lol. no offence. I like it every now and then but he got a bit ahead of his self. It still help out a bit

@oesha28 about in the middle of the screen, of V.dj, there is four tabs, one reads "RECORD" click it. Form there you get your tracks ready. When you are ready click "START RECORDING" after your done. Bring up you P.C. folders. Find music, MP3Tube_Downloads. The track you recorded should be labeled "000" are something like that. Rename the file. That's how I do it anyway.

Please don't ask how to make a video for your song. lol. just joking. It's a bit easier.

You Dont Have To Clone The Second One Just When You Start Click Play & Press 'P' On The Keyboard AT THE SAME TIME, & make Shure When You Start That The Second One Is 1 Beat Ahead. =)

this is good but to make it easier why don't you just hit play on the other deck and line it up using the right mouse button? that's what i do and makes it so much easier. but i am no where near the best at doing C&S but I know a DJ that only uses VDJ to C&S and it sounds like he's using only tables. (he's pretty sick) but other than that good shit man.

@freelunch24 the easiest way to do it when i first started learning it is to have one deck 1 beat ahead of the other. You should use headphones that way you can hear exactly what you are doing. hope that helps.

@Veezy This is the standard skin for 6.0.2 maybe you have a different version, but you can click the beat ahead on the beatgrid at the top.
